Abstract: Described herein are systems for providing a digital interactive experience. This includes a host server, a publisher receiving an application stream and a plurality of media streams corresponding to a first plurality of users in a publishing group, each of the media streams comprising at least one selected from the group of an audio stream and a video stream, the publisher sending the plurality of media streams to a subscriber, and the subscriber composing the application stream and at least two of the plurality of media streams into a composite stream and sending the composite stream to the first plurality of users in the publishing group, wherein the composite stream is sent simultaneously as the plurality of media streams is received.

Abstract: Methods and devices are provided to identify live broadcast content that are multiple identities. One method includes is based on-the-fly modification of the broadcast content during broadcast and includes receiving the content that already includes pre-existing identification information that is embedded in the content, embedding a number of additional watermarks into the content as the content is being transmitted for live broadcast, where the plurality of additional watermarks includes a new identification information for the content. Just at the embedding of the additional watermark is commented, the pre-existing identification information, the new identification information and a temporal relationship between the pre-existing and additional watermarks are transmitted to a remote database, which can be used to enable reception of information based on the pre-existing identification.

Abstract: A method of managing a network for delivering content to a client device, where content segments are delivered over multicast to a proxy. The received segments are stored at the proxy, before delivery of those segments is made from the proxy to the client device over unicast. Whilst the proxy receives further segments over multicast, it probes the network by making unicast requests for data (dummy data or additional content segments), and receiving those segments over unicast from the content server. The multicast rate reception rate and the unicast (probe) rate are measured and a maximum network throughput is calculated as the sum of these two rates. Subsequent segments are then delivered from the proxy to the client device at the calculated maximum network throughput rate, or at some rate dependent thereon. Thus, the client device will receive segments at a rate that is more indicative of the actual maximum network throughput, so can better use its adaptive bit rate algorithms to determine whether a switch to higher bit rate segments is appropriate.

Abstract: A system and method for the late-binding of time-based media in real-time. With late binding, the sender may create time-based media before or at the same time an active delivery route to the recipient is discovered. As soon as the route becomes available, the media is transmitted. The existing DNS and email infrastructure is possibly used for route discovery, while any real-time transmission protocol may be used for the actual delivery of the media. “Progressive” emails may also be used for the real-time delivery of time-based media.

Abstract: An example implementation involves a media playback system that includes one or more playback devices that are controllable by the mobile device while the mobile device is joined to the media playback system. The mobile device may join the media playback system over one or more communication paths via a cellular network from the mobile device to the media playback system. The example implementation may involve detecting that the mobile device is outside of a threshold proximity to the media playback system while the mobile device is joined to the media playback system. Based on detecting that the mobile device is outside of the threshold proximity to the media playback system, the mobile device may disconnect from the media playback system.

Abstract: Content controller system comprising rendering server system comprising a plurality of servers. The servers receiving a plurality of segment render requests that correspond respectively to segments included in a set of media content item segments. The servers render the segments corresponding to the segment render requests using a media content identification and a main user identification. Rendering the segments comprises retrieving metadata from a metadata database associated with the media content identification, rendering the segments using the metadata, generating a main user avatar based on the main user identification, and incorporating the main user avatar into the segments. The servers can upload the segments to a segment database and update segment states in a segment state database to indicate that the segments are available. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.

Abstract: Video routing may include integrated audio mixing, audio processing, or both. An audio subsystem that is integrated with a video router, for example, may receive and mix router input audio signals to provide mixed audio signals, and route the mixed audio signals to router outputs as router output audio signals. Regarding audio processing, input audio signals that include router input audio signals that are received by the video router may be routed as output audio signals. The output audio signals include router output audio signals to be output from the video router. Respective ones of the output audio signals are processed to provide respective processed output audio signals. The input audio signals for the routing also include the processed output audio signals.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer programs configured to generate and present customized movie content to a user are disclosed, according to example embodiments. The customized movie content may be generated by an entertainment system from a plurality of content based on at least one or more of user criteria, device criteria, content criteria, and/or environment criteria. The user criteria, device criteria, content criteria and/or environment criteria may be obtained from public and/or private sources of information of a user. To provide an empirically compelling recommendation of the customized movie content, an artificial intelligence agent may be trained to accurately predict an optimized balance between user's interest, content criteria, network performance, device criteria and/or environment criteria. Then, an algorithm may be derived from the trained artificial intelligence agent so that the transmission of the appropriate customized movie content will seek to result in an improved overall relevance of content, avoid repeated requests and disruptions to the user, enhance the resolution, reliability and delivery of the audio and video content, optimize end user device capabilities, reduce communication disruption, interference and latency, and improve the overall entertainment experience for the user. The customized movie content may be presented to the user at an end user device.

Abstract: Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, devices, computer program products, and methods implementing aspects of a decentralized content fabric. In some implementations, one or more processors are configured to provide fabric nodes of a network, including a first fabric node receiving a client request to perform one or more actions with respect to digital content corresponding to a plurality of content object parts maintained in the network. A lookup is performed on a blockchain ledger in a first blockchain to locate a digital instrument cryptographically linked to a user identifier (ID) of an owner of the digital content. The first fabric node grants the client request based on determining that a user ID associated with the client request matches the user ID of the owner of the digital content. The one or more actions are then performed through a blockchain transaction in the first blockchain or another blockchain.
