Abstract:
A host computer, a graphics processor which receives and executes commands generated by the host computer, a display memory for storing display data, and a display device for displaying the display data are provided. A graphics context is also provided in which the parameters of a current image are stored. A processing unit for receiving and executing the graphics commands issued by the host computer and for converting the parameters stored in the graphics context into the display data, and a drawing unit for storing the display data in the display memory are also provided. Furthermore, a shared memory is provided which is directly accessible to the host computer so that it can write the parameters of a next graphics command into the shared memory while the graphics processor is executing a current command. The shared memory is also directly accessible to the graphics processor so that it can receive the parameters of the next graphics command to be executed directly from the shared memory. In a preferred embodiment, transfers of the graphics parameters between the graphics context and the shared memory are accomplished by employing a bit-block transfer method and a mask register stored in the graphics context.
Abstract:
A video display system includes a frame buffer comprising five sets of one or more VRAMs. An address generator for generating address locations in the frame buffer generates chip select, row select and column select address signals. Because the frame buffer comprises five sets of VRAMs, the generation of the address signals requires divide-by-five operations to be carried out. Accordingly, the address generator includes a unique divide-by-five circuit wherein the division is carried out by a sequence of additions and multiplications. In comparison to conventional systems, the video system of the present invention makes more efficient use of memory capacity in the frame buffer.

This invention relates to a type of "automatic gas spray device & its safety system", particularly to one that can be installed at various locations to automatically spray irritative gas activated by an electronic control main unit and a sensor in case of an attack, robbery or burglary to hinder villains and with a closed-circuit monitor, illumination equipment, alarm and such components as solenoid sensor to comprise an integrated safety system, so that in case of an emergency, to simultaneously give alarm and switch on the illumination equipment and take a photo of the villain with a closed-circuit monitor to facilitate identification of the villain.

A portable gravity reducing apparatus is provided, which may be installed on a headrest of a fitted seat in a car, bus, plane, or an office chair. A pair of looped straps or under shoulder harnesses serves to lift the user's upper body via one or more hand pump driven pneumatic bags. The apparatus can be fitted to and detached from existing seats and chairs in a quick and easy manner in a variety of embodiments.

The coolant supplying and collecting apparatus is inserted along an inner diameter of a rotary shaft of a motor. The apparatus includes a first body section having a hole section formed at one side thereof, and a second body section inserted into and fixed to the first body section. The apparatus is configured to provide a moving path of a fluid along an inner diameter thereof. A channel section is formed between an inner circumferential surface of the first body section and an outer circumferential surface of the second body section and extends in a longitudinal direction to provide a moving path of the fluid in the hole section direction.

One embodiment of method and apparatus for laminating a first substrate to a second substrate can use a liquid optically clear adhesive to form an initial contact area in addition to bonding the first substrate to the second substrate. When either the first substrate or the second substrate is relatively clear, the initial contact area can help reduce the introduction of bubbles or voids into a lamination region between the two substrates. In another embodiment, selected regions of a substrate can be treated to enhance the flow of the liquid optically clear adhesive, which can also reduce the introduction of bubbles and voids into the lamination region.
