Abstract:
A patient transport system includes a patient transport device configured to be docked on a medical instrument, and a detection device configured to determine information relevant to an approach, occurring during docking, of the patient transport device to the medical instrument. The patient transport system assists the docking procedure of the patient transport device on the medical instrument.
Abstract:
A method for identifying a patient for later access to an electronic patient record for the patient using a communication device belonging to an inquiring person. The patient record is stored in a database using a primary key which serves to identify the patient and which has at least one unambiguously associated secondary key, where the secondary key used to identify a patient is at least one subscriber information item which characterizes a subscriber in a wireless communication network. The secondary key for identification is transmitted between a mobile terminal used for communication in the wireless communication network and a portal via the at least one communication network.
Abstract:
In a method for operation of a medical diagnosis apparatus as well as medical diagnosis-apparatus, with which medical questions are to be answered, the medical questions to be answered is established for each question at least one examination step is determined that is necessary for clarification of the respective medical question, and supplementary information is associated with each examination step, and, using the supplementary information, the examination workflow is determined with the necessary examination steps that are needed to answer all medical questions.
Abstract:
There is provided a method and system for case-specific information retrieval from a medical database system. The information to be retrieved comprises at least two categories, clinical guidelines related information and patient related information. The method comprises the steps of accessing a database for retrieval of the clinical guidelines related information and accessing a database for retrieval of the patient related data; matching the accesses; displaying the retrieved clinical guidelines related information and the patient related information and the matched pairs of accesses.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the invention explains a method and system for accessing medical data. The method involves providing access to medical data from the plurality of medical data sources and then correlating the medical data from the plurality of sources based on predefined rules. Then a medical expert reviews the correlated medical data by medical expert and associate expert information from the medical expert regarding the correlation of the medical data from different sources to the medical data.
Abstract:
A system and method transmitting data in heterogeneous networks is described. A plurality of fillable forms is available to a user, each form having a name and metadata corresponding to the data fields that are displayable or retrievable by the form. The same form name is associated with the same metadata at another site, which may be another user or a central data base. When data values are filled in a form, the data values and the form name is transmitted over a network interface. At another location, the data values are received over a network interface, and a form having the same name as that of the received data is retrieved from a forms data base at the receiving location and used either to display the received data values in a form substantially the same as the transmitting form, or to formulate a query to a data base.

Abstract:
In a method for acquisition, analysis and representation of at least one medical image data set created in a medical examination, an image data set of an examination region of an examination subject is acquired with a medical imaging apparatus, at least one display specification regarding an orientation to be retained in a graphical representation of the acquired image data set is retrieved from a data processing device in which it is stored, the image data set is checked with regard to the display specification by the data processing device, and of at least one part of the image data set is adapted and displayed corresponding to the display specification, dependent on the check result.
Abstract:
In a method to transfer and/or to provide personal electronic data of an owner, in particular health-related electronic data of a patient, the personal electronic data are transferred and/or provided in a form stored on a data medium, at least partially encrypted, together with at least one decryptor for at least partial decryption, as well as at least one mechanism to present and/or to access and/or to enable the presentation of and/or the access to at least one part of the personal electronic data.
Abstract:
In a magnetic resonance system and method for checking the positioning of an examination subject, with an image acquisition unit that acquires images of an examination subject by means of nuclear magnetic resonance, an image processing unit automatically searches the acquired images of the examination subject for geometric figures in the examination subject that could result in closed current loops in the examination subject, and an information unit automatically informs operating personnel of the magnetic resonance system when the image processing unit has detected a geometric figure that could lead to closed current loops in the acquired images.
