    Abstract: A damper system for a vehicle is provided that includes a damper and actuator. The damper extends longitudinally along a damper axis between first and second damper ends. The actuator is separate and spaced apart from the damper. The actuator extends longitudinally along an actuator axis between first and second actuator ends. The damper and the actuator are arranged next to one another where the actuator axis is spaced from and substantially parallel to the damper axis. The damper and the actuator are positioned within a cylindrical packaging envelope that has a diameter of 300 millimeters or less. The cylindrical packaging envelope is an imaginary cylinder, which may be defined by one or more components of a vehicle's suspension system such as a coil spring or an upper suspension arm. The damper and the actuator are completely contained within the cylindrical packaging envelope.

    Abstract: A muffler for receiving exhaust gas from a combustion engine may include a shell, an inlet pipe, at least one outlet pipe, one or more baffles, and an internal communication pipe. The inlet pipe may extend through the shell. The outlet pipe may be in fluid communication with the inlet pipe and may be at least partially disposed within the shell. The baffles are disposed within the shell and cooperate with the shell to define a plurality of chambers. The internal communication pipe may be disposed entirely within the shell and may be in fluid communication with the inlet pipe. The internal communication pipe may include an inlet opening and first and outlet openings. The first outlet opening is open to and in direct fluid communication with one of the chambers. The second outlet opening is open to and in direct fluid communication with another one of the chambers.

The outer housing includes an outer wall defining an exhaust gas passageway that can receive exhaust gas. The inner housing is disposed within the outer housing and includes a longitudinal axis, a first end, a peripheral wall, and an outlet. The peripheral wall is at least partially formed by wire mesh. The outlet is disposed at a second end of the inner housing opposite the first end of the inner housing. The injector is fixed to the inner or outer housing to dose the reductant into the interior of the inner housing. The wire mesh includes openings to receive at least a portion of the exhaust gas.     Abstract: A urea reagent exhaust treatment fluid configured for use in treating an exhaust produced by an internal combustion engine comprising water, an amount of urea that is about 32.5 wt %, and an amount of biuret that is at most 0.09 wt %, and a method for manufacturing an aqueous urea reagent exhaust treatment fluid that includes feeding an aqueous urea exhaust treatment fluid including biuret to a filter including a filter element including an adsorbent material having a biuret conversion catalyst. The aqueous urea exhaust treatment fluid is filtered using the filter element by adsorbing the biuret from the aqueous urea exhaust treatment fluid with the adsorbent material, and converting the biuret into a material useful for exhaust after-treatment or into a material that is innocuous, wherein an amount of the biuret remaining in the aqueous urea exhaust treatment fluid after the filtering is at most 0.09 wt %.
