摘要: A damper for use with an automotive coil over shock absorber. An outer damping sleeve is retained over the exterior surface of an inner body and includes a plurality of bypass ports to alternately align and unalign with bypass ports of the inner body to regulate a bypass flow of damping oil between an interior volume and an outer passage, thereby allowing variable damping control of the damper. The outer damping sleeve is connected to an internal floating piston (IFP) which rides inside the inner body. A control spring is retained for applying a force to the IFP to limit the free movement of the IFP and thereby control a damping force of the damper during the damping event. Increased pressure in the hydraulic damping oil causes the IFP to move, causing the bypass ports to open and close depending on the forces subject to the damper.

摘要: A mounting eye (21) is fastened to a rod by pushing, partially or over an entire periphery, an outer periphery of a joint portion of a mounting eye into an annular groove of the rod. Accordingly, an axial length of a fastening portion can be set shorter than that of a related-art structure (screw fastening), thereby being capable of securing a stroke of the rod of a shock absorber in which the mounting eye is fastened to the rod.

摘要: A solenoid valve that can be adjusted axially, and hermetically, to a first end of a body of a shock absorber in order to be able to regulate the hydraulic load of the shock absorber as well as guide the movement of the rod in a longitudinal direction. The solenoid valve includes a movable part that can be moved between an open fluid flow position and another closed fluid flow position, a regulating chamber that generates a pressure to move said movable part towards the opening and an elastic element that generates a closing force. Likewise, the solenoid valve also includes electronic means to exert a force on the movable part, to move it in the direction of movement, preferably by means of a magnetic load. The invention also includes a shock absorber with hydraulic load regulation that comprises a solenoid valve, like the one mentioned, adjusted hermetically to a first end of the body of said shock absorber.

摘要: A shock absorber includes: a cylinder; a piston slidably inserted into the cylinder; a piston rod connected to the piston and extending outside the cylinder; a main valve that generates a damping force; a pilot chamber that applies pressure to the main valve; an introduction passage that introduces the fluid into the pilot chamber; a pilot passage that communicates the pilot chamber and a downstream side of the main valve with each other; and a control valve provided in the pilot passage. In an upstream side of the pilot passage from the control valve, the pilot passage is provided with a first orifice, a first passage provided in parallel with the first orifice, a first check valve that is opened at a predetermined differential pressure and allows a flow toward the control valve through the first passage, and a second orifice.

The first, second, third, and fourth chambers respectively communicated with the height adjustment apparatuses. The height adjustment apparatuses communicated with the first chamber and the second chamber correspond to wheels located on a first diagonal of the vehicle. The height adjustment apparatuses communicated with the third chamber and the fourth chamber correspond to wheels located on a second diagonal of the vehicle.

Such suspension system components are envisioned for use in a distributed active suspension system of a vehicle. In particular, through appropriate sizing of accumulators of a suspension system component of a vehicle, ride quality of the vehicle may be improved and so called “rough ride” issues may be precluded. Alternatively or additionally, various valves or alternative compliant mechanisms may be included in the suspension system component, so that desirable performance may be obtained for a range of operating conditions.

The damper unit (10) further comprises an accumulator (5) and a check valve (6), wherein the accumulator (5) is connected to the container tube (2) via the check valve (6) in such a manner that, when the piston (3) moves in at least one direction, damper fluid is pumped through the check valve (6) into the accumulator (5).

摘要: A vibration damper comprising a working cylinder, which is subdivided by an axially movable piston on a piston rod into a first and a second working chamber filled with a damping medium is disclosed. The vibration damper has at least one compensating reservoir for receiving the damping medium displaced by the piston rod. There is a flow connection between the two working chambers, in which connection there is incorporated a pump assembly. The pump assembly has a fluctuation in the delivery volume with a constant power supply. At least one pulsation accumulator is arranged within the flow connection, wherein the volume and spring rate of the pulsation accumulator are matched to a frequency of a fluctuation of the delivery volume of the pump assembly.

A seal receiving element may be arranged between the inner tube and the middle tube on each side of a middle tube opening facing towards tube ends of the middle tube. A radially encircling sealing element may be arranged in the seal receiving element, and the sealing element may seal the middle tube compensation space relative to the outer tube compensation space at least with respect to damping medium. The seal receiving element may be configured at least partially as a coating element. The coating element may be disposed on the inner tube or the middle tube in a substance-to-substance bonded manner.
