摘要: A sialic acid derivative having an active carbonyl group represented by the formula [I]: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents hydrogen or acetyl group; R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, a metal or a lower alkyl group; R.sup.3 represents hydrogen, hydroxyl gorup, or a residue removed hydrogen from an alcohol portion of an active ester; Ac represents acetyl group; and n is 1 to 20, respectively. This sialic acid derivative [I] can be utilized as a starting material for various complex having a sialic acid in the molecule since it has an active carbonyl group in the molecules so that it shows high reactivity.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel cell system suited for changing a drive operating point of a fuel cell at the time of low-efficiency power generation. The fuel cell system in accordance with the present invention includes a fuel cell which generates electric power by supplied reactant gases, an air compressor which adjusts the flow rate of a reactant gas supplied to the fuel cell, and a controller which controls an output current of the fuel cell by controlling the air compressor to change a drive operating point of the fuel cell. The controller sets a restriction on at least one of a current change amount and a voltage change amount per unit time when changing the drive operating point of the fuel cell in a range of low-efficiency power generation in which a power loss is larger than that in normal power generation.

摘要: The theme of the present invention is a fuel cell system capable of avoiding a disadvantage caused by the maintaining of a low-efficiency operation to improve the safety of a system operation. The fuel cell system is configured to perform the low-efficiency operation having a large power loss as compared with a usual operation at a predetermined low temperature to raise the temperature of a fuel cell in a short time as compared with the usual operation. The fuel cell system prohibits the low-efficiency operation to execute the usual operation, in a case where predetermined conditions are established at the predetermined low temperature. The predetermined conditions include a time when the generated power of the fuel cell cannot be consumed, a time when this generated power cannot be accumulated in a battery, or a time when the flooding of the fuel cell is generated.

摘要: Provided is a fuel cell system capable of making a shift of an operation state while optically controlling an output voltage and an output voltage of a fuel cell. When an ECU judges that the time when an operation should be shifted from a low-efficiency operation to a normal operation has come, the ECU performs, as preprocessing prior to a shift to a ΔV control, processing of increasing an oxidant gas supplied to a fuel cell stack by a predetermined amount. After this processing, the ECU detects output power, calculates an output power deviation, and then compares the output power deviation with a set deviation threshold. When the output power deviation exceeds the deviation threshold, the ECU carries out the ΔV control, and then carries out an I-V control. Meanwhile, when the output power deviation does not exceed the deviation threshold, the ECU judges that the time when the ΔV control is carried out has not come yet, and automatically starts the I-V control without carrying out the ΔV control.
