Abstract:
The single-phase brushless motor according to one aspect of the present invention includes a coil array having a plurality of magnetic coils 11-14; a magnet array having a plurality of permanent magnets 31-34; a magnetic sensor 40 for detecting relative position of the magnet array and the coil array; and a drive control circuit that, utilizing the output signal SSA of the magnetic sensor, generates application voltage for driving the coil array with a single-phase drive signal. The coil array includes a magnetic member 20. This magnetic member 20 is constituted such that, with the single-phase brushless motor at a stop, the centers of the permanent magnets 31-34 come to a stop at locations offsetted from the centers of the magnetic coils 11-14, due to attraction of the magnetic member 20 by the magnet array.
Abstract:
The brushless motor has a first and second drive member. The first drive member is equipped with M phase coil groups each having N electromagnetic coils where M is an integer of 1 or greater and N is an integer of 1 or greater. The second drive member has a plurality of permanent magnets, and is able to move relative to the first drive member. The first drive member has 2 (M×N) magnetic body cores. Each phase electromagnetic coil is coiled on a periodically selected magnetic body core at a ratio of 1 to 2M from among the arrangement of 2 (M×N) magnetic body cores.
Abstract:
An easy manufacturing method of a slip stopper, and apparatus therefor, that has a great slip stopping effect and can be used for a location where a problem occurs if a though hole is opened therein. After a protruding portion is formed on a steel plate, by using a first punching die unit, so as to protrude from the upper surface in a plate thickness direction, a concave portion and drain channels are formed in the protruding portion by shear planes that extend substantially perpendicular to the steel plate upper surface and have been half-blanked so as not to open a through hole in the steel plate by using a second punching die unit.
Abstract:
In the case where an upper punch and a die are made rotatable, a lower punch that is fixed in a conventional example is rotatably supported. Further, a guide mechanism with fixed helical lead for guiding the die is constructed of a guide whose lead is identical to a lead of helical gear contour, and a cam follower that engages with the guide. The guide and the cam follower are arranged so as to correspond to the die and a part with fixed helical lead that is a newly arranged component in the invention. The meshed portion between the helical gear contours of the upper and lower punches and helical gear contours formed on a die or a core rod is free from any excessive force even when a lead-phase shift occurs between helical gears formed on upper and lower punches due to the flexing of the punches during compression.
Abstract:
An upper tool clamp is provided that is supported by a holder body arranged on an upper table of a press brake, so that the upper tool clamp can be oscillated between a clamped state and an unclamped state. A pressing member is mounted on a lower portion of the upper tool clamp in order to press an upper tool on an upper tool support portion which is mounted on a lower portion of the holder body. Further, an engage projection is formed on the upper tool clamp and freely engageable with a drop prevention groove which is formed on the upper tool. In addition, a first clamp/unclamp device and a second clamp/unclamp device are mounted on the holder body, respectively.
Abstract:
An information recording disk formed from two substrates with a stepped central opening for receiving a hub within the stepped recess of at least one of the substrates is provided. In one embodiment, the central aperture of the first substrate is larger than the central aperture of the second substrate to form the stepped recess. In another embodiment, at least one substrate has a stepped surface defining a central aperture and a hub structure is mounted within this stepped recess to reduce overall thickness of the disk.
Abstract:
A magnetic thin film recording layer comprised primarily of a light rare earth element and a transition metal element is disclosed. Other elements are optionally included in the film. The film has an easy axis of magnetization perpendicular with respect to the surface of the film. Magneto-optic recording systems using such films are also disclosed.

The present invention provides ganglioside-related compounds expressed by the following formula: ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 denotes a hydrogen atom or SiR.sub.3 R.sub.4 R.sub.5 (wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each denotes a methyl or phenyl group, and R.sub.5 denotes a tertiary butyl or dimethylphenylmethyl group), and R.sub.2 denotes a hydrogen atom, a trityl group, or ##STR2## (wherein M denotes an alkali metal atom)) and methods of producing the same. These ganglioside-related compounds are useful as markers for the early detection of cancer and in the immunotherapy for cancer.
Abstract:
A method and device for measuring clearance between gears of an internal gear having an inner gear and an outer gear. With the inner gear fixed, the outer gear is set around the inner gear and brought into abutment with the inner gear at one side. The outer gear is then moved in the opposite direction to butt the inner gear at the outer side. The clearance between the two gears is determined by measuring the distance for which the outer gear moves. This method is much simpler and time-saving than a conventional method using clearance gauges.
