Abstract:
A tubular rivet connection is provided for assembling a transport and storage container that has a support frame, an inner plastic container with a filling socket and a discharge socket, and an exterior jacket. The support frame for the inner container has corner and center legs mounted on a base frame. The bottom of the support frame and the exterior jacket are attached to the corner legs and center legs by the tubular rivet connection that has a tubular rivet stem connected to a first component; the tubular rivet stem is formed as a monolithic part of the first component or is a separate part welded to the first component. A second component to be riveted to the first component has a rivet hole. A free end of the tubular rivet stem that projects past the second component after insertion into the rivet hole is deformed to a driven head.
Abstract:
A transport and storage container for liquids has an exchangeable inner plastic container and a pallet-shaped support frame on which the inner container rests. The inner container has four walls, each having a continuously smooth outer surface, a bottom and a top wall, and a filling spout and a drainage spout for receiving a drainage fixture. The transport and storage container also has an outer jacket for receiving the inner container, wherein the outer jacket is a sheet metal jacket or a grid jacket. The transport and storage container has a tamperproofing device in that at least one projection is formed as a unitary part of a support frame bottom of the support frame. At least one recess is formed as a unitary part of a lower bottom area of the inner container. The recess has a shape matching the shape of the projection so that the projection engages the recess.

The middle runner and the two outer runners of the support base are constructed as wooden runners.
Abstract:
A plastic outlet valve for containers for liquids has a valve housing having an inlet socket and a union nut for securing the inlet socket on an outlet socket of a container. An anti-twist device in the form of an outer annular cam arrangement with locking cams is arranged on the inlet socket of the valve housing. The locking cams interlock with locking cams of an inner annular cam arrangement of the outlet socket of the container. As an alternative, an adapter ring with inner and outer locking cams is provided. The adapter ring is slipped onto the insertion end of the inlet socket of the valve housing. The inner locking cams engage matching external longitudinal grooves of the inlet socket of the valve housing, and the outer locking cams engage matching inner longitudinal grooves provided on the outlet socket of the container.
Abstract:
A plastic safety valve for containers, especially pallet containers with an internal container of plastic and an external jacket of metal for the transport and storage of liquids, is constructed as an automatic aerating and venting valve and is integrated into a lid or plug for sealing the filling and/or emptying opening or the aerating and/or venting opening of a container. The valve housing, which is constructed as a threaded plug and can be screwed into a corresponding threaded hole in a threaded cover or threaded plug, has a central hub supported by ribs, wherein the hub has a through-hole. The ribs extend outwardly in a star-like manner from the hub toward a ring-shaped shoulder. Air passage holes are formed between the ribs. An elastically constructed valve membrane of an aerating unit for opening and closing the air passage holes between the ribs is pushed from the inside onto the hub up to a shoulder of the hub. The valve membrane, which is constructed as a hat-shaped profile, is installed in the valve housing with the opening of the hat facing the ring-shaped shoulder of the valve housing, wherein, when the aerating unit is in the closed position, a ring-shaped edge of the membrane rests under pretension against the inside surface of the ring-shaped shoulder of the valve housing which forms a valve seat.
Abstract:
Tighthead barrel (1) is blow molded from thermoplastic. Top (4) which is arched to the outside has dome shape (9) and with its outside edge (10) at distance (a) under bearing surface (7) of carrying and rolling ring (5) which is pointed perpendicularly or obliquely to barrel axis (6--6) at a steep slant angle runs into top end section (11) of barrel jacket (2). Carrying and rolling ring (5) projects upward in the direction of barrel axis (6--6) above crown (16) of top (4). Arched stacking surface (17) of top (4) passes into two ramp-like deck sections (19, 20), which border deck surface (18) of recess (12) for filler and drain plug (14), which emerge in the peripheral direction of the top, and which run with a slight gradient from central stacking surface (17) of top (4) to deck surface (18) of recess (12) for filler and drain plug (14) and via which in the slightly tilted head position of tighthead barrel (1) the residual liquid which emerges through hole (25) of filler and drain plug (14) and which collects on inside (23) of top (4) drains, ramp-like deck sections (19, 20) being made as bridges and forming gutters (21, 22) which run on outside edge (10) of top (4).
Abstract:
A pallet container which can be used as a disposable or reusable container for transport and storage especially of environmentally hazardous liquids has as main components a parallelepipedal inner container (2), an outer jacket (3) made of lattice, a pallet (7) with a flat bottom tray (8) made of sheet metal which is fastened to a pallet frame (9) made of steel pipe and which accommodates an inner container (2) form fittingly, as well as a lattice-like cover (10) with two V-shaped lattice bars (11, 12). The inner container (2) comprises an outer shell (13) made of sheet steel with a jacket (14), a bottom part (15) with a drain bottom (16) and cover (17) as well as elastic inner shell (18) made of plastic with a drain bottom (19) matched to a drain bottom (16) of the outer shell (13). The jacket (14) and cover (17) or bottom part (15) of the outer shell (13) of the inner container (2) are folded to9ether or clinched with one another. The plastic inner shell (18) of inner container (2) can be replaced after removing the folded seam connection or the clinch connection from the cover (17) and the jacket (14) of the outer shell (13).
Abstract:
For producing the bunghole barrel (1) utilized as a multiple-trip barrel, a continuously extending heating tool is placed under pressure on the border (18) of the barrel body (2) from above, and a bunghole lid (6) with an annular extension (23) molded onto the underside of the lid flange (17) and coaxial to the lid axis is placed under pressure on the heating tool. After a heating-up period for superficially melting the annular extension (23) on the lid flange (17) and a continuous annular bead (26) molded to the barrel border (18), the lid (6) and the heating tool are lifted off. Subsequently, the lid (6) is placed with the annular extension (23) under pressure and pretensioning of the lid gasket (16) on the barrel border (18) in such a way that the annular extension (23) on the lid flange (17) is welded to the annular bead (26) on the barrel border (18) to form an annular sealing web (20) joining the lid flange (17) and the barrel border (18). After one-time or multiple usage, for reconditioning the bunghole (1), the bunghole lid (6) is separated from the widemouthed barrel body (2) by removal of the sealing web (20). The barrel body (2) can then be retrofitted to a widemouthed barrel with a simple lid and a clamping-ring closure of sheet metal, or as a lidded bunghole barrel or bunghole barrel can be provided with a welded-on or molded-on bunghole lid.
