    Abstract: A method for optimizing the running properties of a rotating belt of a weighing belt conveyor includes, for at least one rotation of the belt, determining a unique reference position on the belt. A force signal is determined in dependence on the movement of the belt with respect to the reference position during the at least one rotation. From this force signal, the course of a deviation of the force signal from a set value as a consequence of a disruptive force is determined. At least in correspondence with the direction of the determined deviation, the mass of the belt is increased or reduced at locations in dependence on the position of the belt with respect to the reference position

    Abstract: A belt conveyor, particularly a weighing belt conveyor includes a frame constructed from at least one side member and at least one cross member or from a supporting plate. Two rollers are mounted on the frame, with an endless belt located around the two rollers whereby the two rollers are mounted in such a way that they can be moved relative to each other in the conveyance direction. At least one adjustment device is provided on the frame for adjusting the separation between the two rollers. The adjustment device includes a rotatable adjusting component, the axis of rotation S of which lies obliquely above or obliquely below the conveyor level at an angle greater than 0° and less than 90°, in order to make an adjustment to the belt tension possible even after the endless belt has been installed.

    Abstract: A method for the X-ray inspection of products of a predefined product type including at least one first component and one second component having different absorption coefficients for X-radiation. X-radiation with a spectral range is transmitted through a product to be examined. The X-radiation that has passed through the product is detected by means of a spectrally resolving X-ray detector.     Abstract: A belt conveyor is configured for conveying products in a conveying direction and defines a width extending in a transverse direction orthogonal to the conveying direction, and a height direction orthogonal to the conveying and transverse directions. An ejector is fixed to the belt conveyor and acts in the transverse direction for sorting out/discharging products. The ejector has an end region which faces the product to be sorted out, and has a base body mounted in a base position on the belt conveyor by means of a holder. The basic position of the base body can be adjusted by means of an adjusting device of the holder in the transverse direction within an adjustment path so that the end area of the non-actuated ejector in the transverse direction can protrude across the belt conveyor width by at least half of that width, or more.
