Abstract:
Disclosed are a branched polycarbonate resin composition that includes: (A) a polycarbonate resin; (B) a polymer including a reactive group being capable of reacting with a hydroxyl group; and (C) an ionic compound including an alkali metal ion, organic cation, or a combination thereof, and a branched polycarbonate resin and a molded product using the same.
Abstract:
A thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises (A) about 25 to about 55 parts by weight of a block terpolymer including an aromatic vinyl compound and an alkene compound; (B) about 20 to about 50 parts by weight of a paraffin oil; (C) about 5 to about 15 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin; (D) about 5 to about 20 parts by weight of an inorganic additive; and (E) about 3 to about 15 parts by weight of a polyphenylene ether. The thermoplastic elastomer composition can have excellent physical properties, such as flexibility (or resilience), surface hardness, and restoring force at high temperatures.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate resin composition having good flowability and excellent impact resistance. The resin composition comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a glass fiber reinforced polycarbonate resin; and (B) about 0.1 to about 10 parts by weight of a polyolefin modified with at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of methacrylate groups, acrylate groups, modified ester groups, C6-C12 arylate groups, acrylonitrile groups, and combinations thereof.
Abstract:
A heating body is provided. The heating body includes a tube, a heating member disposed in the tube, and a supporting unit disposed along a length of the tube to maintain a predetermined space between the tube and the heating member.
Abstract:
Provided are a heater holder and an electric hob including the heater holder. Both end portions of a tube heater are supported by the heater holder having predetermined elasticity. Therefore, food can be cooked more rapidly, and the tube heater can be easily installed. Furthermore, damages caused by heat generated from the tube heater can be minimized.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a device of stepwise eliminating an offset voltage in an analog-to-digital pipeline converter. The device includes a sub analog-to-digital converter to convert an input signal inputted from a preceding stage into a first digital signal, a sub digital-to-analog converter to convert the first digital signal into a first analog signal, and an offset removing unit to remove a part of the offset voltage according to an offset code relative to the offset voltage based on a remaining signal to thereby generate a corrected remaining signal.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tunable dispersion and dispersion slope compensator based on an optical fiber grating in an optical communication system. The compensator includes: a first disk having a ring shape, wherein the first disk is configured to rotate; a second disk installed at an inner space of the first disk, wherein the second disk is configured not to rotate; a metal plate configured to bend as the first disk rotates; and an optical fiber grating adhered to the metal plate, wherein the optical fiber grating has different strains according to positions when the metal plate rotates.
Abstract:
A burner for a glass top stove includes a heating element, and a reflector. The reflector is shaped to reflect heat and light emitted down and to the sides of the heater back up to the glass top of the burner. The reflector is shaped to form multiple images of the heater on the glass plate. This ensures uniform heating of the glass plate. It also causes a user to believe that there are more heaters than are actually mounted on the burner.
Abstract:
A method of driving a plasma display panel is disclosed, in which the plasma display panel includes one frame divided into a plurality of subfields, the subfield being classified into a reset period, an address period, and a sustain period in order to display a gray scale of the panel by discharge of the subfields. The method includes gradually decreasing a voltage level of a scan electrode at a ending point of ramp-down in each reset period, a voltage level of a scan pulse applied to a selected scan electrode in the address period, or a voltage level of a sustain electrode according to progress of the subfields, thereby improving a stable and rapid address discharge characteristic of the plasma display panel and increasing luminance and contrast ratio of the plasma display panel by obtaining a sufficient sustain discharge time.
