Abstract:
A boot for an optical fiber adapter according to the present disclosure is provided. The boot includes an elastic hollow cylinder and a shape-maintainable member. The hollow cylinder defines an axial direction and the shape-maintainable member is formed on inner surfaces of the hollow cylinder. According to the present disclosure, the boot may be bent to a desired shape in subjection to an external mechanical force. When the boot is bent, the shape-maintainable member will also be bent accordingly. The boot may still be kept in the desired shape even though when the external mechanical force is removed. The boot may be bent to an original shape with an appropriate mechanical force.
Abstract:
An image method for classifying insects includes the following steps: obtaining detecting images of the insects in a detecting area; obtaining a first foreground image related to the insects by background subtraction; extracting the saturation from the first foreground image and eliminating the non-characteristic objects therein to obtain a second foreground image; extracting the characteristics related to the insects from the second foreground image according to a threshold; and, determining the classifications or the sexes of the insects according to the characteristics. Accordingly, the image method for classifying insects can be used for automatically classifying the insects so as to save the manpower and time.

An exemplary heat dissipation module includes a centrifugal fan and a fin assembly located at an air outlet of the centrifugal fan. The centrifugal fan includes a frame. The fin assembly includes fins, each fin is a single monolithic body including a tab. Slits are defined in an end of the frame located at the air outlet. Each tab extends through a corresponding slit and is snapped on the frame thereby attaching the frame on the fin assembly.

A rivet gun has a barrel, a handle, a pneumatic cylinder and a two-step pressing assembly. The handle has a valve-mounting hole, a first mounting hole and a second mounting hole being cylindrical and defined in a bottom end of the handle. The pneumatic cylinder has an inlet bushing, an inner bushing and a control valve assembly respectively mounted in the aforementioned holes. The two-step pressing assembly is mounted on the handle and allows the rivet gun to be operated by two steps. The handle is structurally simple and has a low manufacturing cost. The bushings and control valve assembly are easily mounted in and detached from the handle so that assembling of the rivet gun is efficient.

The first antenna, formed on the first insulating substrate, is coupled to a first ground. The second antenna, formed on the second insulating substrate, is coupled to a second ground that is different from the first ground. The first and the second antennas operate at a first frequency band.

A detecting platform for holding a tiny insect includes a main body forming a containing space, which passes through the main body and is surrounded by side walls of the main body. A first side wall and a second side wall of the side walls are opposite to each other, and the area of the second side wall is smaller than that of the first side wall. The main body forms a first opening and a second opening passing through the first side wall and the second side wall respectively for the tiny insects entering and leaving the containing space. A bottom plate covers a first through surface of the containing space to form a bottom surface and a detecting area is configured thereon to holding the tiny insects. Accordingly, the tiny insects can stay on the detecting area so as to detect the characteristics of the tiny insects expediently.
