摘要： Safety belt system has an automatic roll-up device and a sensor device which effects locking of the belt in the automatic roll-up device when a predetermined deceleration is exceeded. In combination, the safety belt system has an electric safety current circuit connected to the battery to provide current to energize actuating means which effect locking of the belt in the roll-up device, a switch is provided in the circuit operable by the steering wheel lock. Another switch in the circuit is triggered by the sensor when deceleration is exceeded.

摘要： Retightener with a pyrotechnic propellant charge for automatic safety-belt wind-up devices having an energy converter, wherein in the event of danger the explosive pressure of the ignited propellant charge acts on a pullout element tightening the safety belt around the body of the vehicle passenger to be protected via a liquid buffer arranged between the propellant charge and a pullback element. In accordance with the invention a receptacle which contains the liquid buffer is coupled to the winding shaft and rotates together with the latter. In the circumferential surface of the receptacle is at least one jet nozzle directed substantially tangentially to the axis of rotation and against a stationary guide ring surrounding the receptacle.

摘要： Lock for motor vehicle safety belts with a metallic base plate which has a recess in which a latching mechanism is supported so that it can be swung about an axis extending transversely to the insertion direction of a plug-in blade from the closed position by a pushbutton against the action of a spring. With insertion of the plug-in blade the locking mechanism snaps with a latching projection into an undercut of the plug-in blade to the closed position. The recess in the base plate is formed by punching free a lug, which bent out of the plane of the base plate is unitary with and spaced from the base plate forming a guide for the plug-in blade. Manufacture of such locks is simpler with savings in material. In addition the locks are lighter in weight.

Within the housing are roller bodies engaging each other and spring biased toward the tongue. The tongue is provided with notch means for engagement by a roller body to effect latching while a disengaging member moveably carried by the housing is operable for moving the roller bodies into disengaging position.

The belt can be freely drawn outwardly from the housing up to a limit acceleration. When a limit acceleration is reached, an inertia device interposed between the spool and the housing engages and prevents further rotation of the spool in the housing in pay-out direction.

An inertia responsive disc element is mounted on the shaft and movement thereof on the shaft initiates blocking of the shaft. To augment the inertia effect a magnet adjacent the disc provides a retarding effect thereon by the magnetic field from the magnet or by eddy currents in the disc induced therein by the field.

The belt drum (12) possesses a molded externally toothed coupling wheel (16). With the output shaft (20) of the belt pretensioner rotary drive (18) a drive disk (22) is connected, which bears two pivotally mounted coupling pawls (28). In a neutral or rest position thereof these coupling pawls are held by a return spring clear of the periphery of the coupling wheel (16) and may be pivoted inward into an engagement position in engagement with such coupling wheel.
