    Abstract: A hydraulic hammer is disclosed that includes at least one accumulator that is connectable to a hydraulic circuit disposed in the housing of the hammer. The accumulator includes an annular base coupled to a cover with a diaphragm sandwiched therebetween. The annular base includes a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of the annular base defines a first central opening. The proximal end of the base in the housing define an annular inlet that encircles the first central opening and that is in communication with the first central opening. The cover also includes a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of the cover is coupled to the distal end of the base with the outer periphery of the diaphragm sandwiched therebetween.

    Abstract: A damper system for a power cell includes a single-piece top damper element disposed on the power cell, a pair of middle damper elements disposed about a mid-portion of the power cell, and a single-piece bottom damper element that is formed from a material having Shore hardness in the range of about 90 A to 95 A.     Abstract: Systems and methods can include stretching a stud of a hammer assembly by tightening, according to a preset amount, a plurality of fasteners, which can extend from a first end surface and/or a second end surface of a first nut threadedly coupled to the stud, against an upper surface of a body of the hammer assembly. The fasteners and the first nut can provide a clamping load for the stud upon completion of the tightening. The systems and methods can also include, after the stretching, tightening a second nut, which can be threadedly connected to the stud, toward a seat formed in the body of the hammer assembly; and further tightening the second nut, against the seat. The systems and methods can further include transferring the clamping load from the fasteners and first nut to the second nut.

    Abstract: An example bushing of a hydraulic hammer tool includes an outer region and an inner region. The inner region has a relatively greater hardness than the outer region. The inner region may also be compressively stressed, while the outer region may have tensile stress. The stress and/or hardness profile of the bushing may enhance its resistance to wear and galling defects when a hammer of the hydraulic hammer tool is held in alignment by the bushing. The outer region of the bushing may be relatively soft, resulting in the bushing having a relatively high level of toughness. The bushing may be formed using medium to high carbon steel by rough forming the bushing, hardening the bushing, tempering the bushing, and induction softening the outer region of the bushing.

A first movable member is movable from a first position to a second position within the drive fluid chamber in response to drive fluid pressure acting on the first movable member. A biasing member is positioned to bias the first movable member toward the first position. A hydraulic hammer may include a housing defining a chamber, elongate along a longitudinal axis, configured to receive a tool. A locking mechanism, comprising a rotatable locking ring, may be disposed within the chamber between the plurality of upper splines and the plurality of lower splines.
