    摘要: A high capacity radial-fit coupling bolt (or “expanding sleeve bolt”) has a pair of tapered sleeves about a shank of a bolt to which can be applied a tensioning load. An extrudable ring, or a compression ring, is interposed between a head nut or head flange at one end of the shank, and one end of an inner sleeve. A tensioning load is applied to the shank, the inner sleeve causing the outer sleeve to expand diametrically. At a preset load limit, the extrudable ring is extruded through at least one bore in a drive piston between the head nut and the extrudable ring, to allow shank to move relative to the inner sleeve until the tensioning load is fully applied. Alternatively, a drive member is provided between the head nut or head flange and the compression ring, and at a preset limit, the compression ring allows the shank to move relative to inner sleeve until the tensioning load is fully applied. The preset limit will typically correspond to the force required to fully expand the outer sleeve.

    摘要: A tensioning system for tensioning a stud is provided. The system includes an adapter ring having an external surface, an internal surface engaging the external surface of the stud or puller screw, and at least two bores defined therein. The posts have first and second ends and are disposed in the bores. The first ends are supported by a stop surface, and the second ends extend outwardly from the bores. A cylinder includes an internal surface engaged with the external surface of the adapter ring. First and second pistons are movably positioned within the cylinder with an intermediate cap disposed therebetween to define first and second hydraulic chambers. The first piston is configured for being supported by the second ends of the posts. The hydraulic chambers are hydraulically connected to one another, whereby providing a hydraulic fluid in the chambers operates to apply a tension force on the stud.

    摘要: A system for preloading tension in a stud using an anti-seizure spacer for tapered thread connections is provided. The system comprises a hydraulic tensioning device including a nut configured for threadably engaging the stud, a foot, a cylinder having a first bore defined therein and a surface for engaging the foot, and a piston movably positioned within the first bore, wherein a hydraulic cavity is defined therebetween. The device further includes a puller screw including male tapered threads configured for being threadably coupled with female tapered threads on the stud. The puller screw includes a head configured for engaging a surface of the piston. The system also includes a spacer positioned between the male tapered threads of the puller screw and the female tapered threads of the stud. A method for preloading tension in a stud using the spacer is also provided.

    摘要: The invention provides a fixation device for a turbine, including a flange mounted on a housing of the turbine and a nut assembly received in the flange to apply fixation to an component inside the housing. The flange is fixed to the housing by a plurality of first bolts and comprises a central threaded hole. The nut assembly comprises a nut body with a first hole formed along the central axis of the nut body and a plurality of second holes formed around the central axis, and a plurality of second bolts received in the respective second holes. The nut body is formed with thread on its outer circumferential surface and fitted within the central threaded hole of the flange. The second bolts are screwed in the second holes to apply fixation against the component inside the housing of the turbine. The nut assembly further comprises a plurality of sleeves received in the respective second holes, and the plurality of second bolts are received in the respective sleeves. The fixation device in the present invention is able to apply for small and restricted space condition, which makes it possible to position the device very close to the split plane of the turbine. Further, the whole structure of the fixation device is simple with lightweight and easy to assemble with standard tools.
