Abstract: A top cap structure for a power battery is provided. The power battery top cap structure includes a first and second electrode assemblies, and a top cap piece. The first electrode assembly includes a first electrode column having an upper and lower sections, a first seal member and a first connection block. The upper section and the first connection block are formed from a first base metal. The lower section is formed from a second base metal different from the first base metal. The upper section includes a step portion, and the lower section is joined with a bottom surface of the upper section below the top cap piece. The first seal member includes a horizontal extending portion. The horizontal extending portion is disposed between a lower surface of the top cap piece and the step portion. The top portion of the upper section connects with the first connection block.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a cap assembly for a secondary battery and a secondary battery. The cap assembly includes a cap plate, a fixing member, a connecting member and an electrode terminal, wherein the cap plate has an electrode lead-out hole; the fixing member is fixed to the cap plate through the connecting member and provided with a weakened portion that is close to a center line of the cap plate in a width direction of the cap plate; and the electrode terminal includes a terminal board, wherein the terminal board has an outer peripheral surface at least partially surrounded by the fixing member so that the electrode terminal is fixed to the fixing member, and the terminal board is provided on a side of the cap plate and covers the electrode lead-out hole.

Abstract: Provided are a top cover assembly and a secondary battery containing the same. The top cover assembly includes a cover plate, and a first terminal assembly; the top cover plate includes a main body and a protrusion connected to the main body, the protrusion protrudes beyond an upper surface of the main body, an accommodation chamber is defined below the protrusion, the protrusion faces the accommodation chamber, the first terminal assembly includes a deformable plate, and the deformable plate is connected to the top cover plate and covers the accommodation chamber. Such solution can sufficiently utilize the space between the upper surface of the top cover plate and the upper surface of the second terminal assembly, improve the space utilization of the secondary battery, improve the deformation resistance of the top cover plate and the strength of the top cover plate, and keep the secondary battery safe.

The power battery includes the above top cover of the power battery. The power battery provided by the present application can effectively prevent breaking, losing efficacy or deformation of the conductive plate during using process.

Abstract: The invention provides a secondary battery which comprises a cap plate and at least one cell. The secondary battery further comprises connecting pieces, each connecting piece is parallel to the cap plate and positioned at an inside of the cap plate in a thickness direction of the cap plate, a longitudinal direction of each connecting piece is parallel to a length direction of the cap plate, a transverse direction of each connecting piece is parallel to a width direction of the cap plate. Each connecting piece has: a tab welding portion for being welded to the corresponding tab of each cell; and an electrode terminal welding portion connected to the tab welding portion along the longitudinal direction of each connecting piece for being welded to the corresponding electrode terminal of the cap plate so as to electrically connect the corresponding electrode terminal and the corresponding tab of each cell.

Abstract: A power battery cap structure and a power battery are provided in the present invention. The power battery cap structure includes a first terminal, a second terminal and a cap assembly; both the first terminal and the second terminal are provided on the cap assembly, and the second terminal is electrically insulated from the cap assembly. The power battery cap structure further includes a resistance attached to the first terminal and electrically connected the first terminal with the cap assembly. The cap assembly includes a cap sheet, a first short circuit part and a second short circuit part; the first short circuit part and the second short circuit part are attached to the cap sheet and configured to act upwards when pressure inside the power battery increases so that the first terminal and the second terminal are electrically connected to form a protection loop; and the first short circuit part and the resistance are connected in parallel when the protection loop is formed. With the technical solution of the present invention, a separate protection loop can be formed in a power battery respectively in the cases of overcharge and nailing abuses, thereby efficiently protecting the power battery.

Abstract: This application discloses a housing, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric device, and pertains to the field of battery technologies. The housing has at least three edge portions intersecting at a same vertex. An indentation groove is provided on the housing, and the indentation groove intersects with at least two of the edge portions. Because the region near the edge portion of the housing has strong deformation resistance, the probability of abnormal cracking of the indentation groove due to creeping of the region in which the indentation groove is provided on the housing is reduced, thereby prolonging service life of the battery cell.
