Abstract: An end cover assembly, a battery, and an electric device are provided. The end cover assembly is applied to a battery and includes an end cover, a breather valve, and a protective patch. The end cover has a first side facing inside of the battery and a second side opposite the first side and includes a first channel in communication with the first side and the second side. The breather valve includes a gas-permeable membrane in gas communication with the first channel. The gas-permeable membrane includes a gas-permeable portion opened towards the second side of the end cover. The protective patch is provided on the second side of the end cover and covers the gas-permeable portion. The battery includes the end cover assembly. The electric device includes the battery.

Abstract: An end cap assembly includes an end cap configured to close a housing of a battery cell, an adapting member configured to electrically connect an electrode assembly of the battery cell to an electrode terminal of the battery cell, and a supporting member between the adapting member and the end cap. An explosion-proof mechanism provided at the end cap is configured to be actuated to release an internal pressure of the battery cell when thermal runaway occurs in the battery cell. The supporting member is made of a high-temperature-resistant material. An orthographic projection of the adapting member on a first surface of the end cap at least partially overlaps an orthographic projection of the explosion-proof mechanism on the first surface of the end cap and an orthographic projection of the supporting member on the first surface. The first surface is a surface of the end cap facing the housing.

Abstract: Disclosed are a case, a battery cell, a battery, and an electrical apparatus. The case includes a case body and a pressure relief structure, the case body accommodates an electrode assembly, and the pressure relief structure included a plurality of first pressure relief grooves disposed at intervals on the case body along the circumferential direction of the case body. The case body ruptures along the first pressure relief grooves when the pressure or temperature inside the case body reaches a threshold to release the pressure inside the case body. During a pressure relief process, even if one of the first pressure relief grooves is shielded, the case body can still rupture along other first pressure relief grooves, so as to ensure the normal pressure relief of the case body, reduce the risk of fire and explosion of the battery cell, and improve the safety of the battery cell.
