Abstract:
A non-directional infrared remote-control transmitter for infrared remote control system is disclosed to include a remote-control function setting module for setting remote-control control status, a controller for receiving signal from the remote-control function setting module, and a driver circuit, which has multiple infrared transmitting devices disposed at different directions and controllable by the controller to transmit an infrared signal subject to signal from the remote-control function setting module.
Abstract:
An exhaust system is provided having an exhaust path configured to direct an exhaust stream away from an engine. The system may also include an exhaust treatment device in the exhaust path and configured to act on one or more substances in the exhaust stream. Further, the system may include at least one temperature sensing device configured to provide an output indicative of a temperature at one or more locations on a working material of the exhaust treatment device. In addition, the system may include a controller configured to generate a temperature map of the working material of the exhaust treatment device and to determine deviations from an expected temperature map.
Abstract:
A method for providing efficient use of a transmit engine in transmitting packet directing information. In one embodiment, two linked lists are used to submit packets and packet directing information to a transmit engine. When there is no packet to send, both lists are marked as free. When software desires to send a packet to hardware, the packet is placed on the first linked list. Software marks the first linked list as busy. If the transmit engine is not busy with the second linked list, software will start the transmit engine utilizing the first linked list. While the first linked list is marked as busy, all additional packets are directed to the second linked list. When the packets of the first linked list have been sent, software marks the first linked list as free.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to replication competent variants of mammalian immunodeficiency virus comprising mutations and/or deletions of the V3 hypervariable loop and compensatory mutations, as well as methods for producing such variants. The invention also relates to V3-loop deletion mammalian immunodeficiency virus mutants that have compensatory mutations, deletions of the V1/V2 loops, or both. The invention further relates to isolated Env, gp120 polypeptides, and gp41 polypeptides comprising novel mutations useful in conjunction with, or separate from, a virus of the invention, as well as nucleic acids encoding the same.
Abstract:
An FEP pellet having a volatile content of 0.2% by weight or less. The FEP pellet satisfies the following requirements (i) and (ii) when used to form a insulating material coating a core wire by extrusion coating at a coating speed of 2,800 ft/min.: (i) an adhesive strength between the insulating material and said core wire of 0.8 kg or more; and (ii) an average number of cone-breaks in the insulating material of one or less per 50,000 feet of the coated core wire.
Abstract:
A detachable device handle mounting structure is constructed to include a mounting frame fixedly fastened to an apparatus the mounting frame having a front plug plate, a handle detachably coupled to the mounting frame, a button supported on a spring in a stepped vertical through hole of the handle, and a retainer element fixedly fastened to the button to lock the handle and the mounting frame. The retainer element is lowered and disengaged from the mounting frame when the user pressed the button, enabling the handle to be disconnected from the mounting frame.
