摘要： A current-mode controlled DC-DC converter includes a comparator comparing a first or second current detection signal with a first or second reference current that is based on an error voltage of a voltage detection signal, a pulse generator generating a first pulse signal whose ON time is longer than an interval between when the second current detection signal reaches a minimum value and when the second current detection signal reaches the second reference current, a pulse generator generating a second pulse signal whose ON time is longer than an interval between when the first current detection signal reaches a minimum value and when the first current detection signal reaches the first reference current, the second pulse signal being behind the first pulse signal by a half period, and a PWM circuit generating a first or second PWM signal according to the pulse signal and an output signal from the comparator, thereby turning on/off a switch.

摘要： An image forming apparatus which forms a halftone image on a print medium (200) using multipass processing of reciprocally scanning a single area by an inkjet head (220) a plurality of number of times, forming dots in one of reciprocal scan operations, and moving the inkjet head (220) to a home position in the other reciprocal scan operation includes a print data generation unit (370) which generates print data of each print-scan operation, a printer engine (180) which prints a halftone image on the basis of the print data generated by the print data generation unit (370), and a sensor (230) which detects the state of printing in up to a print-scan operation immediately preceding a print-scan operation of interest. The print data generation unit (370) corrects print data in synchronism with printing by the printer engine (180) on the basis of the detected printing state.

摘要： In an ink jet printer, ink ejection beyond the printing medium is reduced when performing printing without leaving a space along at least one of the edges of the printing medium. For this purpose, performance of data processing in the process of image processing relating to the image data of the marginless edge portion reduces a printing density of the area to lessen an ink application amount to the edge portion. For example, data processing is performed in such manner that a predetermined coefficient smaller than 1 is multiplied by the image data of the area.

摘要： An information processing method and apparatus of this invention are a method and apparatus for multiplexing data indicating information other than video information on a video signal and transmitting the multiplexed data. Modulated data is formed by inputting the data and modulating the input data. The video signal and the modulated data are input, and the modulated data is multiplexed on the input video signal. When the multiplexed data is output, the modulation mode or the multiplexing interval of the modulated data is controlled in correspondence with the type of input data, thus realizing a function of multiplexing data on a video signal and transmitting the multiplexed data in correspondence with the data type with a simple, small-scale circuit arrangement.

摘要： A dielectric filter and a method of manufacture. The filter includes a block of ceramic material having one or more holes extending from a top surface to a bottom surface, each of which is interiorly covered with conductive material so as to form an inner conductive layer. The bottom surface and side surfaces of the block are also covered with bottom and side conductive layers electrically connected to the inner conductive layers at the bottom surface. The inner conductive layer is further connected to spaced apart top conductive layer portions provided on the top surface of the block surrounding each hole. The top layer portions are spaced from each other and have an oblique edge portion which is capacitively coupled with, and obliquely faces an upper edge portion of the side conductive layers, the oblique edge facilitating adjustment of the resonant frequency by removal of a predetermined amount of conductive material therefrom. In accordance with the method of manufacture of this filter, the filter is initially constructed to have a resonant frequency which is greater than that ultimately desired, and after measuring the resonant frequency initially obtained, a predetermined amount of conductive material is removed from the top conductive layer at a location along the oblique edge portion according to the required reduction in resonant frequency in order to reduce the resonant frequency to a desired value.
