Abstract: Example methods and apparatus for transmitting uplink control information are described. One example method includes receiving downlink control information by a terminal device, where the downlink control information includes resource information of a data channel, first indication information, and second indication information. The first indication information indicates a power offset value between a transmission time interval k and a transmission time interval k−1, and the second indication information is used to determine a power adjustment value in the transmission time interval k. The terminal device determines transmit power in the transmission time interval k based on the power offset value and the power adjustment value. The terminal device transmits uplink control information based on the transmit power, where the uplink control information includes feedback information for the data channel.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a uplink channel transmission method. Scheduling information from the network device can be received by a terminal device. The scheduling information indicates uplink time-frequency resources carrying at least one uplink channel. a first uplink channel is carried on a first uplink time-frequency resource, and the first uplink time-frequency resource occupies M subbands in the N subbands in frequency domain, M≥2. The M subbands can be detected by the terminal device to determine, from the first uplink time-frequency resource, a second uplink time-frequency resource usable by the terminal device. The second uplink time-frequency resource occupies K subbands in the M subbands in frequency domain, and M>K≥1. The first uplink channel can be sent by the terminal device by using the second uplink time-frequency resource.

After an MCS index is selected for a terminal device, reduction processing is performed on the MCS index according to a preset MCS index reduction exponent, a reduced MCS index is indicated to the terminal device, frequency offset estimation is performed on the terminal device by using a recorded historical frequency offset value, and a PUSCH sent by the terminal device according to the reduced MCS index is demodulated after the frequency offset estimation. A frequency offset value is determined by using the prerecorded historical frequency offset value, so that the frequency offset value does not need to be determined in an existing manner of adding a DM-RS symbol to a 0.5-millisecond TTI.
