摘要: A supply tray for a surgical procedure is selected based on the surgical procedure and patient data retrieved from an electronic health records database. Multiple steps of the surgical procedure are retrieved from the electronic health records database. A message is sent to a first manipulator to move a supply from the supply tray to a staging area for performing a step. A first indication is received from a first sensor that the supply is needed at a present time. A position where the supply is needed in an operating area proximate to the staging area is determined using a second sensor. A second message is sent to a second manipulator to move the supply from the staging area to the position. A second indication is received from a third sensor that the step is complete. A third message is sent to a third manipulator to remove the supply.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for edge computing in surgical robotics is provided. The system comprises a surgical robot communicatively coupled to a 3rd party operating room equipment system over a cloud network. The surgical robot includes an operating room hardware configured to perform a surgical procedure on a patient. A memory is communicatively coupled to operating room hardware and user interface, and the memory comprises an equipment database and a threshold database to store parameters related to the operating room hardware. A processor, coupled to the operating room hardware via the network interface, is configured to establish a connection between the surgical robot and the 3rd party operating room equipment system, and monitor events being performed by the operating room and then store the monitored data within the threshold database. The threshold database stores trigger values for each piece of equipment for taking actions, based on data collected by sensors.

A surgical robot is disclosed that can be controlled by a surgeon using speech input in a conversational manner. The surgical robot is provided either general commands or specific instructions, assessing whether the instructions can be completed within the capabilities of the available hardware and resources, and seeking approval from the surgeon prior to executing the instructions. Alternatively, the embodiments disclosed allow the surgeon to perform an action that cannot be safely completed by the surgical robot.

摘要: Described herein are techniques for generating a radiological report. In some cases, some or all of the radiological report may be generated during a medical imaging to which the report relates, such that the report is generated contemporaneously with or in real time during the imaging. In some embodiments described herein, some or all of the radiological report may be generated automatically, without intervention from an imaging technician or from a radiologist. Such an automatic generation of radiological report content may be performed in some embodiments through comparison of information regarding a medical imaging of a patient to information regarding one or more prior medical imaging's of the patient or other patients. In response to detecting a match between information regarding a medical imaging of a patient and information regarding a prior medical imaging, information relating to the prior medical imaging may be used to generate the radiological report.

The surgical robot extracts a data file containing movements of the end effectors of the surgical robot to perform a surgical action or function. The surgical robot executes the data file to perform the action or function to complete a step in the surgical process.

The Operating Room Module testing the smart implant prior to implantation surgery; correlating data collected during the implantation surgery against past data from previous surgeries; determining whether the plurality of sensors is working properly; and transferring communication with the smart implant to a user device receive and monitor data from the plurality of sensors integrated into the smart implant to determine the smart implant is operating according as expected and to monitor the patient's condition.
