摘要: A method and to a corresponding apparatus reads out X-ray information stored in a storage phosphor plate (1), the storage phosphor plate (1) being irradiated with stimulation light (3) and so being stimulated into emitting emission light which is collected by a detector (9) during several measuring times and being converted into corresponding emission light signals (S, R). In order to guarantee high reliability when examining sensitivity fluctuations, in particular with different types of detectors, provision is made such that reference measurements are taken by the detector (9) during several reference measuring times and several reference signals are thus produced, the individual reference measuring times falling respectively between the measuring times, and the reference signals being used for examining the sensitivity of the detector (9) to emission light.

摘要: In a method for electronic image rectification in pixel-by-pixel scanning of a substrate by a bundled electromagnetic beam, the pixels are read out one after the other in readout intervals of constant predetermined duration. In order to improve image quality, the deviation between a reference scanning movement and an actual scanning movement carried out on the reference substrate is initially determined in a calibration process, for example, by a reference substrate with a known geometric surface structure. Depending on this deviation, a delay interval is determined for a pixel and the start of the readout interval of this pixel or of the subsequent pixel is delayed by this delay interval. The information about the delay interval is stored. In an analysis process for examining a substrate, the stored information about the delay interval is accessed for the pixel, and the delay interval is added before or after the readout interval.

摘要: A method and apparatus for applying a medium, especially a conditioning medium or a rubber covering medium, to a printing form positioned on a form cylinder, especially to a rewritable and erasable printing form, is disclosed. The medium is applied to a rubber covered cylinder or to a separate applicator roll or an applicator cylinder for the medium, the medium then being transferred from the rubber covered cylinder or applicator roll or applicator cylinder to the form cylinder, in this case the rubber covered cylinder, the applicator roll or the applicator cylinder rolling repeatedly over the form cylinder in order to ensure a uniform application of the medium to the printing form.

摘要: The invention proposes a brazing alloy, which can be produced in particular as a homogenous, ductile, amorphous brazing foil and consists of 2 to 20 atom % of nickel, 2 to 12 atom % of tin, 0.5 to 5.0 atom % of zinc, 6 to 16 atom % of phosphorus, remainder copper and incidental impurities. The total amount of copper, nickel, tin and zinc is between 80 and 95 atom %. The addition of more than 0.5 atom % of zinc produces excellent resistance to surface oxidation in air and/or atmospheric humidity. These brazing alloys can be used to produce excellent brazed joints.

摘要: A thin metallic ferromagnetic alloy ribbon is annealed by continuously transporting it through an oven in order to induce specific magnetic characteristics and in order to remove a production-inherent longitudinal curvature of the ribbon. While the heat-treatment occurs, the ribbon is guided by a channel in a substantially straight annealing fixture. The channel is characterized by slight curvatures along portions of its length, in particular where the ribbon enters into the annealing oven. The curved channel provides an improved thermal contact between the ribbon and the heat reservoir. As a consequence the process can be conducted at particularly high annealing speeds without degrading the desired characteristics.

摘要: An apparatus for mounting a printing sleeve on a press cylinder includes an inherently stiff annular holding element having an inner shape which is matched to the outer shape of the sleeve, and mutually facing ends defining a slit having a width. At least one clamp urges the ends toward each other to form a butt joint, so that the holding element can clamp the sleeve with a clamping force which is limited by the width of the slit. A device is provided for expanding the holding element so that the clamping force on the sleeve can be released.
