Abstract: A method for receiving periodic transmissions of a segmented communication is disclosed. The segmented communication is received and each segment of the segmented communication is examined to determine if the segment is valid. Valid segments are stored, while invalid segments are discarded. Next, it is computed when the invalid segments will be retransmitted. A subsequent transmission of the communication is received and a retransmission of a previously identified invalid segment is extracted, the retransmitted segment being located based on the computation. The retransmitted segment is examined to determine if it is valid.

Abstract: The invention applies the economies of scale to data processing and provides automated methods of collecting, categorizing, indexing, storing and retrieving large amounts of data from a wide variety of sources. The invention discloses the use of location and industry templates to categorize documents and other data objects. Location and industry data for each document is translated into a set of assignment numerals that are used to create a header number. Each document or data object is indexed and stored in a data warehouse in accordance with the header number. Subsequently, documents and data objects are retrieved from the data warehouse using the index of header numbers and the location and industry templates.

Abstract: A wireless hybrid time division multiple access/code division multiple access (TDMA/CDMA) user equipment (UE) includes a signaling receiver and a data detection device in communication with the signaling receiver. The signaling receiver is configured to receive and recover signaled information of code and timeslot assignments of the UE to support an RF communication. The data detection device is configured to recover from the signaling information an identifier of a plurality of assigned timeslots and an indication of a first and last code of a set of consecutive codes. The last code is identified by an identifier associated with the last code, and the same set of consecutive codes are assigned to each of the plurality of assigned timeslots.

Abstract: A pair of airfoil blades having a longitudinal axis coincident with one another. Each blade is bent at the center on the plane of the chord. Each blade has an airfoil tip blade placed at the outer most trailing edge. The blades are affixed by their root ends to opposite ends of a torsion shaft. The blade chords are offset from one another, which defines a blade pitch angle. The torsion shaft is journaled perpendicular through a driveshaft, whereas the rotation of the blades can transfer through the torsion shaft to the driveshaft and cause the driveshaft to turn, eliminating the need for a hub. The blades are adapted to pivot along with the torsion shaft. The blades lie in substantially the same plane, and are adapted for rotation in a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the driveshaft. Each blade has an airfoil shaped fluid gate valve disposed on the leading edge.
