Abstract: An input detection device includes: a plurality of drive electrodes each of which includes a first end and a second end; a first scanner circuit and a second scanner circuit which select the first ends of the plurality of drive electrodes; a third scanner circuit and a fourth scanner circuit which select the second ends of the plurality of drive electrodes; and a controller which supplies a first drive voltage to the first end of a first drive electrode and to the second end of a second drive electrode and supplies a second drive voltage different from the first drive voltage to the second end of the first drive electrode and to the first end of the second drive electrode via the first scanner circuit, the second scanner circuit, the third scanner circuit, and the fourth scanner circuit.

Abstract: Provided is a touch detection function-equipped display device that can be manufactured while suppressing an increase of price. A display device is provided with a pixel array including a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form, and drive electrodes each of which is arranged to extend in a first direction in the pixel array. A drive signal is supplied to a first area in a first drive electrode among the drive electrodes, and a ground voltage is supplied to a second area extending in the first direction with respect to the first area to generate a magnetic field in the first drive electrode according to the drive signal at a time of detecting an external proximity object.

Abstract: A detection device includes a substrate, first electrodes, second electrodes, and a conductor. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The first electrodes are provided in a display area of the substrate and detect the position of an object being in contact with or in proximity to the first surface side of the substrate or pressure of the object being in contact with the first surface side. The second electrodes are provided along at least one side of the outer periphery of the display area. The conductor is provided on the second surface side of the substrate apart from the substrate and generates an electrostatic capacitor between the conductor and the second electrodes.

Abstract: The input detection device includes: a line having an end to which a driving signal is supplied and extending in a first direction; a plurality of drive electrodes extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction and arranged in parallel in the first direction; a selecting drive circuit selecting the drive electrode from the plurality of drive electrodes and connecting an end of the selected drive electrode to the line; a driving signal circuit supplying the driving signal to the end of the line; and a plurality of line patterns connected to each drive electrode. A line density of line patterns connected to a drive electrode connected to be close to the end of the line is smaller than a line density of line patterns connected to another drive electrode connected to be far from the end of the line.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a display apparatus includes: a display panel including a plurality of pixels each including a pixel capacitor and a pixel transistor, a scanning line that is coupled to the respective pixels and is configured to receive a scan signal, and a video signal line that is coupled to the respective pixels and is configured to receive a video signal; and a driver configured to drive the display panel. The pixel transistor includes: at least one N-channel metal oxide semiconductor (NMOS) transistor coupled between the video signal line and the pixel capacitor; and a P-channel metal oxide semiconductor (PMOS) transistor coupled in parallel with the NMOS transistor.

Abstract: In, for example, such an in-cell touch panel of an electromagnetic induction method as to generate a magnetic field for touch detection in a display device, provided is an input detection device in which even an end portion of a display area can generate the same magnetic field as that generated at a center of the display area. The input detection device includes a plurality of first drive electrodes placed in a detection area; a second drive electrode placed in a frame area; and a second drive circuit driving the second drive electrode. In addition, the plurality of first drive electrodes and the second drive electrode extend in a first direction to be arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction, and the second drive electrode and the second drive circuit are arranged in the first direction in the frame area.

Abstract: A performance of a display device having an input device is improved. A display device includes: an electro-optical layer; a first driving electrode and a second driving electrode which drives the electro-optical layer; a driver chip which outputs a video signal; a switch circuit which is arranged outside the driver chip, which selects a potential to be supplied to the second driving electrode, and which includes a first switch element and a second switch element; a shift register circuit connected to the switch circuit; and a detection circuit which detects that an object is close or in contact. Each of the first switch element and the second switch element is selectively turned ON or OFF by the shift register circuit. The detection circuit is electrically connected to the first switch element and the second switch element.
