    摘要: A magnetic field sensor assembly has a magnet, a semiconductor sensor and a metal leadframe encapsulated in a plastic package to form a semiconductor integrated circuit. A metal leadframe has a die attach pad on which the sensor is secured and an assembly having one or more projections for securing the magnet in close proximity to the sensor. The leadframe is made from a metal having sufficient spring tension so that the assembly having the projections will secure the magnet. The sensor is adjacent to a ferromagnetic object and will detect a change in magnetic field caused by the ferromagnetic object. Only a thin layer of the plastic package covers the sensor thus reducing the distance between the sensor and the ferromagnetic object but still maintaining an air gap between the plastic package and the ferromagnetic object sufficient to allow passage of the ferromagnetic object.

    摘要: A two-terminal integrated circuit magnetic-field detector, for use in detecting a low level of a liquid in a vehicle, has a Hall element, a Schmitt type comparator, an anti-sloshing accumulator such as an up-down counter, and a latching driver all connected in tandem. The anti-sloshing accumulator is for producing a signal that is the integral as a function of time of the binary comparator output signal. During sloshing, when the average liquid level is near that at which a low-level warning signal is desired, the accumulator signal climbs in a vacillating manner. The latching driver is connected across the two integrated circuit (I.C.) terminals and latches on when the accumulator signal reaches a predetermined value, dropping the impedance across the two I.C terminals. A liquid level indicating lamp is connected in series with a source of DC voltage and the two I.C. terminals, so that when the average position of the floating magnet approaches that of the I.C. detector, the driver latches on and the low-level indicating lamp is also turned on and cannot be turned off except by removing the DC energizing voltage. The accumulator may be an up-down counter with means for preventing counting in the over-flow mode, and also for preventing counting in an under-flow mode, namely downward counting below zero count.

    摘要: An integrated circuit voltage regulator is of the kind having a pass transistor connected collector-to-emitter between the input V.sub.CC conductor and the regulated-voltage output conductor, a current source circuit supplying a base bias current to the pass transistor and a voltage reference and feedback regulator circuit connected between the output voltage conductor and the base of the pass transistor. A protective circuit against high voltage transients adding to V.sub.CC voltage comprises a transistor connected collector-to-emitter between the pass-transistor base and ground has a resistor paralleling the base-emitter junction, which resistor is resistively coupled to the input V.sub.CC line to shunt away the pass-transistor bias current whenever the V.sub.CC voltage level exceeds a value just under the latch-back breakdown voltage of the pass transistor. A zener diode directly connected across the DC input voltage conduction renders the regulator even more tolerant of high voltage transients.

    摘要: An electronic circuit combines a synchronous switching regulator circuit with an overvoltage detection circuit. The overvoltage detection circuit is configured to generate an overvoltage signal capable of an overvoltage state indicative of a power supply voltage being above a predetermined threshold voltage. The switching regulator circuit is coupled to receive the overvoltage signal. The switching regulator is also configured, in response to the overvoltage signal being in the overvoltage state, to generate a first control signal resulting in at least one of two series coupled transistors being in an off condition.
