    摘要: Disclosed is a novel photosensitizer based on polymer derivatives-photosensitizer conjugates for photodynamic therapy capable of being selectively accumulated in cancerous tissues and producing singlet oxygen or free radical by laser irradiation. The polymer derivatives-photosensitizer conjugates for photodynamic therapy are prepared as nano-sized particles, and have excellent selection and accumulation ratio for cancerous tissues. The photosensitizer conjugates can produce singlet oxygen or free radical by a specific laser wavelength. Owing to the excellent selection and accumulation ratio for cancerous tissues, the conjugates minimizes photo-cytotoxicity of the conventional photosensitizer having a low molecular amount. Accordingly, the conjugates are very useful as a photosensitizes for photodynamic therapy with reduced side effects and excellent therapeutic effectiveness.

    摘要: A dry type adhesive device for teeth whitening in which a peroxide tooth whitening agent is stabilized is disclosed. The dry type adhesive device for tooth whitening comprises a matrix type adhesive layer and a backing layer wherein the adhesive layer contains a peroxide as a teeth whitening agent and a hydrophilic glassy polymer as a base polymer so that the hydrophilic glassy polymer provides strong adhesion to teeth when hydrated at the enamel layer of the teeth in the moist oral cavity and the whitening agent is released. In particular, although the dry type adhesive device is touched with the hands or contact the skin during attaching to the teeth prior to hydration, no stickiness and releasing of the whitening agent takes place, thus being safe. In addition, since the dry type patch has strong adhesive strength to the teeth and excellent adhesion maintenance after being hydrated and attached to the teeth, it can remain attached to the teeth for a long time and thus exhibits excellent whitening effect even low concentrations of a whitening agent. Furthermore, the dry type adhesive device can provide excellent whitening within a short period of time.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a dry type tooth whitening patch comprising peroxide as a tooth whitening agent. In particular, disclosed is a dry type tooth whitening patch in which a peroxide is contained, as a teeth whitening agent, in a matrix type adhesive layer. The adhesive layer includes, as a base polymer thereof, a hydrophilic glass polymer which provides a strong adhesion to teeth while releasing the tooth whitening agent when hydrated on the enamel layers of teeth in the moist oral cavity. The dry type patch according to the present invention is convenient in use, as compared to wet type patches. Further, it exhibits a superior adhesion while being maintained in a state attached to the teeth for a lengthened period of time so as to assure an enough contact time between the whitening agent in the patch and stains on the teeth, thereby giving a sufficient whitening effect.
