摘要: When data in one semiconductor memory device is corrupted during a padding process by a padding unit and the data cannot be recovered even by using an error correcting code for correcting a data error, a storage control device issues a data recovery request to a data recovery device. The data recovery device reads the data from other semiconductor memory device in response to the data recovery request to recover the data, and returns a recovery result to the padding unit in the storage control device to perform the padding process.

摘要: A size storage unit stores therein a block size of a memory element. A buffering unit executes buffer processing configured to store data received from a RAID (Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive/Independent Disks) controller into a buffer, and to write the data stored in the buffer into the memory element. A stripe-size receiving unit receives a stripe size that indicates a size of a unit of access at time of access to the memory element by the RAID controller. Writing processing is configured to write data received from the RAID controller into the memory element without executing the buffer processing by the buffering unit, when the stripe size is n times of the block size (n is a positive integer).

摘要: An ocular fundus portion analyzer and the method are provided for attaining accurate and quick detection and diagnoses of an ocular fundus defect portion, such as an excavation of an optic disk caused by glaucoma and a macula retinae caused by retinal detachment, by dealing with a large number of single-shot ocular fundus images, for example, taken in physical examinations. It is configured to include an image importing portion for importing an image of an ocular fundus portion taken by a visible radiation or a near-infrared radiation; a pixel data generation portion for generating pixel data including pixel positions and luminance of pixels constituting the image; a local plane gradient image generation portion for generating a three-dimensional image from pixel positions and luminance of the pixel data, obtaining a local approximation plane at any pixel and generating a local plane gradient image from a gradient angle with respect to a control plane of the three-dimensional image; and a display portion for displaying the local plane gradient image.

摘要: A planar motor permits a thinner design, controlled vibration, and highly accurate positioning by disposing X-axis and Y-axis coreless type linear motors on the same plane without using an expensive linear guide and by incorporating high-accuracy capacitance displacement sensors in X and Y directions. Two pairs of permanent magnets are disposed such that they are respectively orthogonalized with respect to two axes that are orthogonalized with each other on a movable stage and that they generate magnetic fluxes in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the movable stage. Furthermore, the permanent magnets of one pair are disposed symmetrically to each other about one of the two axes, while those of the other pair are disposed symmetrically to each other about the other axis. Two pairs of coils are provided such that they oppose and match the two pairs of permanent magnets. A cross-shaped common electrode is installed to the movable stage and disposed such that it opposes a fixed electrode composed of two electrodes disposed on a fixed electrode base. Displacements of the movable stage can be determined from changes in capacitance of capacitors formed by the cross-shaped common electrode and the fixed electrodes.

摘要: The present invention provides an adsorption-type cooling apparatus comprising first, second, third, and fourth adsorption devices filled with a coolant and contain adsorbents which adsorb evaporated coolant and desorb the adsorbed coolant during heating. Adsorption cores provide heat exchange between the adsorbents and a heat medium, and evaporation and condensation cores provide heat exchange between heating medium and the coolant. A cooling device in which heating medium cooled in the evaporation and condensation cores circulates and cools the object of cooling. A heating means supplies a high-temperature heat medium to the first-fourth adsorption devices. A cooling means supplies a low-temperature heat medium which has a temperature lower than that of the high-temperature heat medium to the first-fourth adsorption devices. Also, a switching control means is provided which switches between multiple states.

摘要: A manufacturing method for a semiconductor device, wherein a polyimide-based resin layer is covered with a P-CVD oxide silicon film or the like before it is subjected to degassing process in order to prevent blisters or cracks of a cover film of a semiconductor device which has the polyimide-based resin layer as an interlayer insulating film. This makes it possible to take the semiconductor device out in open air after the degassing process and to prevent the dispersion of reaction products resulting from amidation during the degassing process.
