摘要: An effective remedy for ischemic disease, which contains human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (human G-CSF) and hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) as active ingredients, is disclosed. By administering this remedy, an effective therapy particularly for obstructive arteriosclerosis is provided which can eliminate drawbacks with conventional therapies such as kinesitherapy, pharmacotherapy, revascularization and recently proposed therapies such as gene therapy and intramuscular inoculation of bone marrow cells. Furthermore, the remedy of the present invention can become a remedy for ischemic disease such as ischemic cerebrovascular disorder or ischemic heart disease.

摘要: In a contents data transmission/reception system, a contents data transmitter generates a plurality of key information, encrypts contents data by using one of the key information, transmits the key information through a plurality of signal routes to a contents data receiver, and then, transmits the encrypted contents data used by the key information through the signal routes to the contents data receiver. The contents data receiver receives the key information and the encrypted contents data transmitted from the contents data transmitter through the signal routes, and decrypts the encrypted contents data by using the key information.

摘要: In an optical communications module comprising one or more dielectric substrates equipped with an optical transmitter section, an optical receiver section or an optical transceiver section, and a chassis encasing all of them, a metal part is formed on one side of at least one of the dielectric substrates such that the metal part constitutes the whole or a part of the exterior surface of the chassis so that the length of heat conduction from a dielectric substrate with heat-generating components installed thereon can be minimized so as to efficiently release heat through the metal part to outside, curbing a temperature increase within the chassis. Thus, the optical communications module can exhibit excellent performance.

摘要: In a novel method of homo- or copolymerization of vinyl chloride, a specified coating agent is applied on the surfaces of the portions which will become into contact with the vinyl chloride monomer during the polymerization process. The coating agent is in a form of an aqueous solution of a modified condensation product of phenol and aldehyde, the pH of the solution being adjusted in a range that the product is dissolved at an ambient temperature upon coating of the solution and separates out of the solution upon being heated on the surfaces. The wall surface of the polymerization tank and the like is then coated with a thin film of the coating agent having a uniform thickness and being strongly adhered to the wall surface, thereby providing an excellent effect of preventing adhesion of the product polymer to the wall surface.

摘要: The invention relates to methods of selecting a cardiomyocyte from a cell population derived from a whole heart or a differentiated cell population derived from a stem cell without genetic alteration. Specifically, the invention relates to a method of selecting a cardiomyocyte from a cardiomyocyte-containing cell mixture without genetic alteration of a cardiomyocyte, on the basis of a relative content of cellular mitochondria and/or a relative mitochondrial transmembrane potential of the cell. The invention also relates to methods of enriching a cardiomyocyte from a cardiomyocyte-containing cell mixture without genetic alteration of a cardiomyocyte, producing a cardiomyocyte without genetic alteration of a cardiomyocyte, and evaluating the ratio of a cardiomyocyte in a cardiomyocyte-containing cell mixture.
