    摘要: A terminal fitting 10 includes a main body 20 to be coupled to a mating conductor, and a crimp contact section 30 rearward from the main body 20. The crimp contact section 30 is crimped on an end of a core wire 42 in a covered electrical cable 40 so as to surround the end. The core wire 42 includes a plurality of metallic strands 41 and is covered with a sheath 43 to form the covered electrical cable 40. Serrations 34 are provided on a contact surface of the crimp contact section 30 for surrounding the core wire 42. Each serration 34 is a polygonal shaped recess with which the core wire 42 engages upon crimping. Both diagonal corner portions 34C of each serration 34 are rounded. Thus, the whole periphery of an opening edge around the recess penetrates an oxide layer on a core wire.

    摘要: A terminal fitting (10) includes a main body (20) to be coupled to a mating conductor, and a crimp contact section (30) rearward from the main body (20). The crimp contact section (30) is crimped on an end of a core wire (42) in a covered electrical cable (40) so as to surround the end. The core wire (42) includes a plurality of metallic strands (41) and is covered with a sheath (43) to form the covered electrical cable (40). Serrations (34) are provided on a contact surface of the crimp contact section (30) for surrounding the core wire (42). Mounting portions (54) are formed in the side walls (52) and have open front ends. Restricting members (80) are formed separately from the mating connector and mountable within the thickness range of the side walls (52) forward of the board fixing portions (70). One end of each restricting member (54) engages lower surfaces (54A) of the mounting portions (54) and the other end engages the lower surface of the printed board (P).

    摘要: Disclosed is a fire-resistant lead-free shield material having high shielding ability against nuclear or electromagnetic radiation, and excellent bending workability and handling performance. The shield material comprises a composite material consisting of an organic material and a metal or metal compound having a nuclear or electromagnetic radiation-shielding ability. The composite material is formed into a given shape, such as a plate shape, and wrapped with a cloth-like sheet formed of glass fibers, metal fibers or carbon fibers. Alternatively, the shield material comprises a shielding element consisting of an elastic polymeric organic compound and a particle having a nuclear or electromagnetic radiation-shielding ability, such a heavy metal or ferrite. The shield material also includes either one of a film made of polyethylene, nylon, polyester or metal, a wire mesh formed of nylon fiber or metal fiber, and a plate- or rod-shaped member having a surface formed with a protrusion, which is compression-bonded onto or in the vicinity of a surface of the shielding element, or inside the shielding element.
