    摘要: A thin film transistor (“TFT”) substrate in which the size of a pixel TFT formed in a display area is reduced using a single slit mask, and the length of the channel area of a protection TFT constituting an electrostatic discharge protection circuit formed in a non-display area is formed larger than that of the pixel TFT using the same mask pattern. The TFT substrate includes a signal line and a discharge line formed on a substrate, a signal supply pad formed on one end of the signal line to supply a signal to the signal line, and an electrostatic discharge protection circuit including at least one protection TFT including a plurality of channels formed between the signal supply pad and the discharge line and/or between the signal line and the discharge line.

The light-blocking layer includes a source electrode pattern portion including a first electrode portion, a second electrode portion and a third electrode portion, and a drain electrode pattern portion disposed between the second electrode portion and the third electrode portion. The halftone layer includes a halftone portion corresponding to a spaced-apart portion between the source electrode pattern portion and the drain electrode pattern portion, and a dummy halftone portion more protrusive than ends of the second electrode portion and the third electrode portion. Thus, a photoresist pattern corresponding to a channel portion of a thin film transistor (TFT) may be formed with a uniform thickness, to thereby prevent an excessive etching of the channel portion.

The storage capacitor stores a control voltage depending on a threshold voltage of the driving transistor when the driving transistor is diode-connected, transmits the control voltage and the data voltage to the control terminal of the driving transistor, and a period in which the compensation signal is in an on-voltage state is longer than a period in which the scanning signal is in an on-voltage state.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a display device. In an embodiment, the display device includes a scanning signal line for transferring a scanning signal, a data line crossing the scanning signal line and transferring a data voltage, a switching transistor connected to the scanning signal line and the data line, a driving transistor connected to the switching transistor, a first transistor connected between the driving transistor and a driving voltage terminal, and a light-emitting element connected between the driving transistor and a common voltage terminal. The first transistor operates in a saturation region, and the driving transistor operates in a linear region. In this way, display characteristics may be improved by reducing deviation of a driving current due to deviation of characteristics of a driving transistor or a driving voltage.
