摘要: A method for selecting a channel for an access point (AP) in a Wireless Local Are Network (WLAN). The method includes the AP receiving network conditions of APs within the sensing range of a terminal sent by the terminal, and the AP selecting a channel based on the received network conditions. By forwarding the network conditions of other APs which can be detected by the terminal, the method of the present invention enables an AP to select a channel from the view of a terminal to avoid conflicts at the terminal, thereby improving the available bandwidth of the terminal, and giving a better experience to users.

摘要: A system and a method for replicating data among heterogeneous databases are disclosed. The system comprises: an initialization module for creating and initializing at least one shared memory, at least one message queue and at least one semaphore in a computer; a source data processing module including a data reader, a data adapter and a data loader; a target data replication module for replicating the data in the shared memory to at least one target database according to the messages in the message queue; and a cleaning module for releasing the shared memory after the replication has been completed. The method comprises the steps of: creating and initializing the shared memory, the message queue and the semaphore in the computer; reading data from at least one source database, then converting the data into target data to be stored in at least one target database, and loading the target data in the shared memory; replicating the target data in the shared memory to the at least one target database according to the messages in the message queue; and releasing the shared memory after the replication has been completed.

摘要: A method and device for performing and processing user-defined clipping in object space to reduce the number of computations needed for the clipping operation. The method and device also combine the modelview transformation of the vertex coordinates with projection transform. The user-defined clipping in object space provides a higher performance and less power consumption by avoiding generation of eye coordinates if there is no lighting. The device includes a driver for the user-defined clipping in the object space to perform dual mode user-defined clipping in object space when a lighting function is disabled and in eye space when the lighting function is enabled.

摘要: The present invention relates to the preparation of insulinotropic peptides that are synthesized using a solid and solution phase (“hybrid”) approach. Generally, the approach includes synthesizing three different peptide intermediate fragments using solid phase chemistry. Solution phase chemistry is then used to add additional amino acid material to the third fragment which is then coupled to the second fragment and then the first fragment in solution. Alternatively, a different second fragment is coupled to the first fragment in the solid phase. Then, solution phase chemistry is then used to add additional amino acid material to a different third fragment. Subsequently, this different third fragment is coupled to the coupled first and different second fragment in the solution phase. The use of a pseudoproline in one of the fragments eases solid phase synthesis of that fragment and also eases subsequent solution phase coupling of this fragment to the other fragments. The present invention is very useful for forming insulinotropic peptides such as GLP-1(7-36) and its natural and non-natural counterparts.

摘要: Techniques are described for managing failover in redundant network devices. In particular, each device in a set of redundant network devices includes redundant processing modules. Each module provides a separate operating environment for a set of network services. Each network device includes a control unit that receives configuration information that specifies individual weight values for each of the modules and a threshold value for the network device. The control unit detects failures of the modules and transfers primary responsibility for performing the network service to a second network device when the threshold value is exceeded by a weighted sum of the weight values for the failed modules.

摘要: A system and method for detecting errors in high-speed asymmetric interfaces are described. Embodiments include transmitting digital data between a first system component and a second system component over a bidirectional interface, wherein the first component is significantly more intelligent than the second component. The first component controls many operations of the second component, including receiving a signature from the second component over an existing line of the interface. The signature received is compared to a signature stored by the first component. Both signatures correspond to a transaction over the interface. Based on the comparison, the first component determines whether the transaction was successful, and directs the second component as necessary.
