摘要: The invention relates to a machine tool (1), comprising a plurality of fixed tool spindles (3) and such that can optionally be displaced from a retracted idle position to an extended working position and can be positioned at different positions in a frame-like rack (2), and a workpiece carrier (4) with at least one workpiece holder (5), with the workpiece (4) carrier being movable at least in several axes in a translational manner and preferably also in a rotational manner. In order to provide advantageous constructional conditions it is proposed that at least one of the tool spindles (3) is associated with a tool magazine (7) plus tool changer (8).

To achieve a high machining accuracy in parallel machining, according to one proposal, the transfer center—in order to compensate for a deviation between the actual position and the desired position of the workpiece or workpieces—has a position compensation system with at least two pressure elements situated between the workpiece or workpieces and the machine frame, whose operating directions enclose an angle with each other.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for activating a workpiece manipulator (4) of a machine tool (1), comprising a control device which prescribes machining paths (6) for a workpiece by means of a computing unit, which machining paths are travelled by the workpiece manipulator (4) from a machine starting position (A), wherein the workpiece (5) which can be moved by the workpiece manipulator (4) in a multi-axially translatory and preferably also rotating manner is passed to a plurality of tools (3) one after the other for the step-by-step machining. In order to provide advantageous conditions it is proposed that in the case of termination of machining the workpiece manipulator (4) is made to move with the workpiece (5) back over the path of movement (7) assigned to the respective machining step into a position (8) prior to this machining step, in which the workpiece manipulator is optionally stopped or from which the workpiece manipulator is moved into the machine starting position (A).

Roller bodies are rotatably disposed between the at least one outer ring and each of the inner rings. Radially-outer bores extend through the inner ring unit or the supporting element in the axial direction and each receives a screw or bolt for affixing the bearing assembly on a bearing carrier. The radially-outer bores are spaced from the symmetry axis of the bearing assembly. At least one lubrication conduit is defined on or in at least one of the inner rings and is configured to communicate liquid lubricant to the roller bodies.
