    摘要: An echo reduction system includes a signal analysis filter that converts an input into sub-band signals. A signal down-sampling circuit down-samples the sub-band signals at a first down-sampling rate. An echo analysis filter converts a loudspeaker signal into echo sub-band signal that are further processed by an echo down-sampling circuit. The circuit down-samples the echo sub-band signals at a second down-sampling rate to generate down-sampled echo sub-band signals. An echo compensation filter folds the down-sampled echo sub-band signals with an estimated impulse response of a loudspeaker-room-input system. A second echo down-sampling circuit down-samples the folded down-sampled echo sub-band signals at a third down-sampling rate to generate estimated echo sub-band signals. The first down-sampling rate is equal to the product of the second and third down-sampling rates.

    摘要: A method for detecting barge-in in a speech dialog system comprising determining whether a speech prompt is output by the speech dialog system, and detecting whether speech activity is present in an input signal based on a time-varying sensitivity threshold of a speech activity detector and/or based on speaker information, where the sensitivity threshold is increased if output of a speech prompt is determined and decreased if no output of a speech prompt is determined. If speech activity is detected in the input signal, the speech prompt may be interrupted or faded out. A speech dialog system configured to detect barge-in is also disclosed.

    摘要: To reliably and consistently detect desirable sounds, a system detects the presence of wind noise based on the power levels of audio signals. A first transducer detects sound originating from a first direction and a second transducer detects sound originating from a second direction. The power levels of the sound are compared. When the power level of the sound received from the second transducer is less than the power level of the sound received from the first transducer by a predetermined value, wind noise may be present. A signal processor may generate an output from one or a combination of the audio signals, based on a wind noise detection.

    摘要: A speech processing device includes an automotive device that filters data that is sent and received across an in-vehicle bus. The device selectively acquires vehicle data related to a user settings or adjustments of an in-vehicle system. An interface acquires the selected vehicle data from one or more in-vehicle sensors in response to a user's articulation of a first code phrase. A memory stores the selected vehicle data with unique identifying data associated with a user. The unique identifying data establishes a connection between the selected vehicle data and the user when a second code phrase is articulated by the user. A data interface provides access to the selected vehicle data and relationship data retained in the memory and enables the processing of the data to customize the in-vehicle system. The data interface is responsive to a user's articulation of a third code phrase to process the selected vehicle data that enables the setting or adjustment of the in-vehicle system.

    摘要: The invention provides a method for determining a set of filter coefficients for an acoustic echo compensator in a beamformer arrangement. The acoustic echo compensator compensates for echoes within the beamformed signal. A plurality of sets of filter coefficients for the acoustic echo compensator is provided. Each set of filter coefficients corresponds to one of a predetermined number of steering directions of the beamformer arrangement. The predetermined number of steering directions is equal to or greater than the number of microphones in the microphone array. For a current steering direction, a current set of filter coefficients for the acoustic echo compensator is determined based on the provided sets of filter coefficients.
