摘要: A telephone is disclosed which comprises a memory (6) for storing first information, such as ID information, and a memory module receiver (10) for removably receiving a memory module for storing second information, such as ID information. The telephone also comprises a microprocessor (4) for detecting a change in contact between the memory module and the memory module receiver (10) since the previous use of the telephone. The microprocessor (4) uses the first information when the memory module and receiving means are not in contact and the second information when memory module and receiving means are in contact whilst there is no change detected. However, when a change is detected, the information to be used by the microprocessor (4) is selected, either automatically or manually.

摘要: A radio network control method that allows uplink signals transmitted by a mobile station to be received by two or more selected base station radio systems and then combined, thus providing receiver diversity. The method requires measurement of radio link qualities of the OFDM signals passing between mobile station and base station radio system. The method is selectively applied to individual mobile stations and for each mobile station to a selection from the available base station radio systems—the selection being based upon the relative and/or absolute measurements of radio link qualities.

摘要: A method and system for providing network based malware detection in a service provider network is disclosed. Transmission control protocol (TCP) packets defining originating from an access device coupled to the service provider network defining a TCP session between a computing device coupled to the access device, and a destination coupled to the service provider network are received. An operating system identifier (OS ID) associated with the TCP session and the computing device is determined. If malware is present in the TCP session and an associated malware ID is determined by comparing a malware signature to the one or more TCP packets. An alert identifying a network address associated with the access device, the malware ID and the OS ID associated with TCP session that generated the alert can then be generated.

摘要: An interface system prevents operational interference between a vehicle power door and a ramp of an access system by interrupting power to the motors and actuators responsible for operating the door. The interface system includes a relay system that does not interrupt, read, signal, or otherwise interfere with the communication lines between a body control unit, door control unit, or remote control transmitter or receiver. Thus, the interface system functions without the need to receive and transmit signals on the vehicle's communication bus. The interface system enables the ramp controller of the access system to be a separate module, which controls the ramp and kneel functions, because the only input the ramp controller provides to the power door system is to a ground signal that mimics that of a switch included in the vehicle.

摘要: A method of detecting a leak in an ink delivery system comprises providing an ink delivery system having a plurality of pipes, wherein the ink delivery system could potentially have an ink leak producing an audible signal. The method further comprises providing an ultrasonic detector operable to detect the audible signal and actuating the ultrasonic detector to detect when the ink leak is present by detecting the presence of the audible signal. Finally, the method comprises outputting a signal when the audible signal is detected to alert a user.
