    摘要: An electrostatic seat occupant detecting system of a vehicle has a vehicle body and a seat. The electrostatic seat occupant detecting system includes an antenna unit that includes a main electrode and a sub-electrode disposed near the main electrode, an AC power source, a switch unit for switching supply of AC voltage to the antenna unit to form one of a first electric field between the vehicle body and the main electrode thereby providing a seat-occupant detecting mode and a second electric field between the main electrode and the sub-electrode thereby providing a wet condition detecting mode, and a seat-occupant detecting ECU. The above seat-occupant detecting ECU includes an admittance calculating section that calculates a first admittance of the first electric field and a second admittance of the second electric field, a conductance susceptance separating section that separates conductance of the first and second admittance from the susceptance of the first and second admittances, a water content estimating section that estimates an amount of water content of the seat based on the conductance and the susceptance of the second admittance, and a judging section that judges whether a seat occupant is present or not based on one of the conductance and susceptance of the first admittance and the estimated amount of the water content of the seat.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a heat sink for use in a heat sink fan is provided. A heat-sink base portion defining a central axis and a circumferential surface is formed. A plurality of heat-radiating fins is formed on the circumferential surface of the base portion. Each of the heat radiating fins extends away from the central axis and defines at least one radially distal edge. After the base portion and the heat-radiating fins are formed, a distal-edge protrusion or a recess is formed on or in at least one of the heat radiating fins by a machining process, so as to form partially along the envelope of the heat sink at least one discrete engagement feature.

    摘要: A heat sink fan of the present invention includes a heat sink and an axial flow fan, and the axial flow fan includes a motor, an impeller and a housing. An outer wall surface of a cylindrical portion of the housing is formed with an arm which engages with the heat sink and fixes the housing and the heat sink. The arm is provided with a lead wire retaining hook. A interspace is formed between the lead wire retaining hook and the arm, and the lead wire is detachably held in the interspace. The packing or transportation operation is enhanced, and convenience of mounting operation of the lead wire to electronic equipment is enhanced.

    摘要: An electronic key device has a housing, a substrate unit, a battery holder, a key passage, and a key. A lock pin provided on the battery holder is biased toward the key by a spring. A distal end of the pin enter the key passage for retaining or locking the key. When the key is not being used, the key is covered by the pin. When the key is being used, the pin advances into a locking aperture of the key to lock the key. The pin locks the battery holder to the housing. The use of one pin for locking the key and the battery against the housing enables miniaturization of the device.

    摘要: A vacuum cleaner includes an automated air quantity adjusting mechanism which has good linearity and has no hysteresis. The automated air quantity adjusting mechanism includes an exhaust opening section 7a formed within a cylindrical body 7. A flange 26 provides the exhaust opening section 7a at the lower section of a supporting body 6 which supports an electric generator 9. A guide shaft 21 is provided at a central section of the exhaust opening section 7a in a standing manner which guide shaft has a stopper member 24 at its uppermost edge section. The mechanism further includes a circular plate shaped valve 22 in which the guide shaft 21 is passed therethrough, and a returning coil spring 25 for pushing the valve 22 towards the stopper 24. The valve 22 is moved downward by negative pressure within an air suction passage 2 so that a distance between the valve 22 and the exhaust opening section 7a is changed and an air quantity flowing towards the air suction passage 2 through the exhaust opening section 7a is adjusted.
