    摘要: A photoconductor is disclosed, which comprises a conductive cylindrical support which is substantially not hollowed, the conductive cylindrical support having a drive transferring mechanism coaxially and unifiedly provided on at least one of the end portions thereof, the conductive cylindrical support having a photoconductive layer on the outer periphery. The moment of inertia I (g . cm.sup.2) of the substantially not-hollowed conductive support is in the range of 0.4.ltoreq.I.ltoreq.140 (g . cm.sub.2), the diameter thereof being in the range from 0.5 to 2.0 cm. When the relation of C/(S . .omega.).ltoreq.0.4 (where S (cm.sup.2) is the square measure of the portion of the photoconductive layer on the photoconductor; C (cal/.degree.C.) is the heat capacity of the substantially not-hollowed cylindrical support; and .omega. (rad/s) is the rotating speed in development) is satisfied, high quality images can be readily and stably obtained without damages of the drive system.

    摘要: This invention relates to a cleanerless developing method using a mono-component toner, which method effects simultaneous developing and cleaning operations in the step of development. It more particularly relates to a method which is capable of forming images of outstanding quality without entailing generation of positive memory or negative memory. In the cleanerless developing method using a mono-component toner, the absolute value of the magnitude, .vertline.q.sub.t .vertline., of charging the developing toner to be used is selected to fall in the range between 0.5 [mC/kg] and 40 [mC/kg], the absolute value of the magnitude, .vertline.q.sub.r .vertline., of charging the residual toner to be introduced into the step for simultaneous developing and cleaning as deposited on the surface of the latent image retaining member is set to fall in the range between 0.5 [mC/kg] and 60 [mC/kg], or the absolute value of the magnitude, .vertline.q.sub.z .vertline., of charging the residual toner during the step for uniformizing the residual toner is selected to fall below the upper limit of 40 [mC/kg]. By selecting the magnitude of charging the toner within at least one of the ranges mentioned above, the cleanerless developing method using a mono-component toner is always and easily enabled to produce images of high quality without entailing the generation of positive memory or negative memory.

    摘要: A developing apparatus comprises a developing roll for carrying a nonmagnetic toner thereon, and an elastic blade pressed against the outer circumferential surface of the developing roll to apply the toner thereto. The toner is applied to the surface of the developing roll by the elastic blade to form a thin layer of the toner on the surface of the developing roll. The thin layer is opposed to a photosensitive body to deposit the toner on a latent image on the photosensitive body. The developing roll has a surface which is opposite to the photosensitive body and the whole of which is roughened.

    摘要: In a developing device for supplying developer to latent images formed on an image support, a container in which the developer is contained has a sloping bottom. The container has an opening in its top so as to release the developer particles therethrough. The container houses a developer carrier, which is arranged above the sloping bottom of the container with one end located on the lower side of the sloping bottom of the container immersed in the developer particles, and with its other end located on the higher side of the sloping bottom thereof. The developer carrier has a plurality of linear electrodes arranged thereon, starting from one end to the other end, and has an electric field generator connected to these linear electrodes to successively apply voltages to these electrodes so as to generate an electric field which advances according to a lapse of time, whereby the developer particles are carried along the developer carrier, from one end to the other. That part of the developer particles which does not contribute to the developing of the image is also carried from near the opening to the other end, where it slides down by its own weight on the sloping bottom of the container to return to and near the one end again.

A voltage circuit applies to the strip electrodes potentials, which change in a stepwise manner as a time function, so as to form electric fields shifting from the inclined portion to the horizontal portion. An opposed electrode is disposed to oppose the inclined portion. A voltage, which is half the maximum value of the potentials applied to the strip electrodes of the toner carrier, is applied to the opposed electrode.

    摘要: A developing device is provided for developing by means of a toner an electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of a photosensitive drum which rotates along one direction at a given speed. The developing device comprises a developing roller movably disposed at a given distance from the photosensitive drum, for causing the toner thereon to move in accordance with the movement thereof, whereby the toner thereon is supplied to the photosensitive drum by means of the surface potential of the electrostatic latent image, and a layer regulating member for regulating the amount of the toner put on the developing roller. The developing roller rotates in other direction at a speed relative to the given speed.

    摘要: An electrostatic copying apparatus comprises a charging/cleaning device which has both a charging function for charging a photosensitive layer and a cleaning function for removing a developer remaining on the photosensitive layer. The charging/cleaning device includes a first common rotatable roller having an electrical conductive contactor on the outer periphery thereof, a voltage applying mechanism for applying a voltage between furs of the contactor and a photosensitive drum. The furs applied with the voltage charge the photosensitive layer and electrostatically attract the developer remaining on the photosensitive layer to clean thereof. The charging/cleaning device further includes a recovering mechanism for recovering the developer attracted to the furs therefrom.

    摘要: A developing apparatus is used with an image forming system provided with a photosensitive layer on which a static latent image is impressed and which is formed of first and second portions having different surface potentials. The developing apparatus comprising a developing roller which is rotatably arranged and fitted with a large number of hairs for feeding a developing agent such as a toner to the surface of the photosensitive layer in contact therewith. The developing agent is attracted to the first portion of the surface of the photosensitive layer with a strong attractive force and to the second portion of the surface with a weak attractive force. The developing apparatus further comprises electrode tube for removing that portion of the developing agent which is attracted to the second portion with the weak attractive force.

A radio apparatus according to an embodiment includes a first amplifier amplifying a signal inputted to an input terminal with amplification gain determined by a variable resistor to generate a first amplified signal, and a second amplifier amplifying the first amplified signal to generate a second amplified signal. Further, the radio apparatus includes a first correcting unit correcting a direct current offset of the first amplifier, and a second correcting unit correcting a direct current offset of the second amplifier. The radio apparatus also includes a reference voltage source or reference current source supplying a reference voltage or reference current for referring a direct current offset to the first amplifier and the second amplifier, a gain controller controlling the amplification gain of the first amplifier; and a correction controller controlling the gain controller to set the amplification gain to maximum and controlling the first and second correcting units to perform correction of the second correcting unit based on the second amplified signal obtained by inputting the reference voltage or the reference current to an input terminal of the second amplifier, and thereafter perform correction of the first correcting unit based on the second amplified signal obtained by inputting the reference voltage or the reference current to an input terminal of the first amplifier.

    摘要: In one embodiment, a wireless transmission apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a generator unit, an amplitude adjuster unit, a phase adjuster unit, and a setting unit. The generator unit generates an amplitude control signal that minimizes an amplitude difference and a phase control signal that minimizes a phase difference in a state in which a power is set during an OFF period of a switch. The amplitude adjuster unit adjusts an amplitude of a feedback RF signal according to the amplitude control signal during an ON period of the switch. The phase adjuster unit adjusts a phase of a local signal according to the phase control signal during the ON period. The setting unit sets, for a Cartesian loop, a first loop gain when the switch is OFF, and a second loop gain higher than the first loop gain when the switch is turned from OFF to ON.
