摘要: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which can reliably perform a current cut-off operation in a current cut-off state and can release a gas in a cleavage state. In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, an electrode element is held in a circularly cylindrical outer packaging can. A lid, a PTC element, and a safety valve are caulked on one end side of the outer packaging can through a gasket to seal one end of the outer packaging can. At the central portion of the safety valve, a projecting portion projecting toward the electrode element is formed. The projecting portion is welded on a sub-disk welded on the free end of a positive electrode lead. In the safety valve, a plurality of linear thin portions are formed along two circles centering on the projecting portion. A thin portion extending in a radial direction is formed across the end portions of the thin portions adjacent to each other. In this manner, by the plurality of thin portions, one continuous thin portion is formed.

摘要: First cells 10, obtained by cutting each of disk-formed solar battery cells at cutting positions set in parallel on the main surface thereof symmetrically with respect to the center line which halves the main surface, are arranged in parallel and staggered manner to thereby fabricate a solar battery module 100. Also two segments of by-produced second cells 20R and 20L are paired so as to oppose both cut edges, and a plurality of thus-obtained pairs are arranged to thereby produce a solar battery module 101. This makes it possible to reduce loss of disk-formed wafers, and to raise the module-packing ratio higher than that in the case where the disk-formed cells are arranged in an intact form. This is successful in providing solar battery modules and a method of fabricating the same capable of raising the module-packing ratio while reducing the loss of single crystal wafer to be used.

摘要: Oppositely of a temperature measuring surface of an object-to-be-measured 16, a reflecting member 28 is disposed while being spaced by a reflection gap 35 from the temperature measuring surface. The reflecting member 28 is composed of a heat ray reflecting material capable of reflecting heat ray in a specific wavelength band, in a portion including a reflection surface 35a. A heat ray extraction pathway section 30 is disposed through the reflecting member 28 so that one end thereof faces the temperature measuring surface. Heat ray extracted through the heat ray extraction pathway section from the reflection gap is detected by a temperature detection section 34. The heat ray reflecting material is configured in a form of a stack comprising a plurality of element reflecting layers composed of a material having transparent properties to the heat ray, in which every adjacent two element reflecting layers are composed of a combination of materials having refractive indices which differ from each other by 1.1 or more. This makes the measurement be hardly affected by radiation ratio of the object-to-be-measured when temperature of the object-to-be-measured is measured by a radiation thermometer, enables to measure its temperature more correctly irrespective of the surface state thereof, and can simplify configuration of a measurement system.
