摘要: A micrometer wherein a rotary knob and a pinion are threadably coupled to each other, further, a resilient member for functioning as a constant pressure is interposed between the rotary knob and the pinion, and, when the rotary knob is rotated by a value of distortion of the resilient member after a spindle having a rack meshed with the pinion is abutted against a workpiece to be measured and stopped, the rotary knob is moved in a direction of the rotary shaft thereof, whereby a portion of the rotary knob is abutted against a main frame, thereby acting as a locking function.

Thus, a non-aqueous secondary battery having excellent overcharging safety and being capable of ensuring storage reliability with less generation of gas during storage at a high temperature can be provided.

摘要: A method of producing electroconductive anhydrous zinc antimonate, comprising the steps of mixing a zinc compound and a colloidal antimony oxide in a ZnO/Sb.sub.2 O.sub.5 molar ratio of 0.8 to 1.2; and calcining the mixture of 300 to 680.degree. C. in a gas containing steam to produce an electroconductive anhydrous zinc antimonate having a ZnO/Sb.sub.2 O.sub.5 molar ratio of 0.8 to 1.2 and a primary particle diameter of 5 to 100 nm. The substance is useful as an antistatic agent, an ultraviolet absorbent, a heat ray absorbent, and a sensor, for example.

摘要: A sheet antenna apparatus capable of favorably receiving vertically polarized electromagnetic waves is provided which includes an antenna element 11 comprising a main antenna portion 15 having a vertical segment 19, a pair of upper and lower lateral segments 20 and 21 respectively extending laterally from opposite ends of the vertical segment 19 and a pair of feeder segments 22 respectively extending inwardly from the terminating ends of the lateral segments 20 and 21, and a parasitic antenna element comprising an inner loop portion 16 and an outer loop portion 17 which form a double loop and are disposed as adjoining to one of the lateral segments 20 and 21. The vertical segment 19 of the antenna element 11 substantially coincides with the direction of vertically polarized electromagnetic waves and hence receives vertically polarized electromagnetic waves favorably. Further, when the frequency of received electromagnetic waves is high, the inner loop portion 16 becomes resonant with the main antenna portion 15, while when the frequency of received electromagnetic waves is low, the outer loop portion 17 becomes resonant with the main antenna portion 15. Thus, the antenna apparatus can successfully receive vertically polarized electromagnetic waves within an extensive frequency range.
