    摘要: An absorber of rays outside the visible region. The absorber includes a base made of a transparent synthetic resin with electroconductive anhydrous zinc antimonate incorporated therein; or a base made of a transparent synthetic resin with a layer formed of a synthetic resin and electroconductive anhydrous zinc antimonate incorporated therein, for absorbing rays outside the visible region, being disposed on a surface of the base; or wherein the layer is formed by depositing electron conductive anhydrous zinc antimonate powder on a surface of the base made of a transparent synthetic resin. The electroconductive anhydrous zinc antimonate can be a powder having a molar ratio of ZnO to Sb2O5 of 0.8 to 1.2 and a primary particle size of 5 to 200 nm. The light transmittances of the absorber are high in the visible region and low in both the ultraviolet and infrared wavelength regions.

    摘要: A sol comprising silica-magnesium fluoride hydrate composite colloidal particles used in an anti-reflection coating material for forming an anti-reflection coating and a process for its preparation are provided. A sol comprising silica-magnesium fluoride hydrate composite colloidal particles having a ratio of silica to magnesium fluoride hydrate MgF2.nH2O, n being in the range between 0.25 and 0.5, in terms of a SiO2/MgF2 weight ratio of from 0.01 to 5 and a primary particle size of 5 to 50 nm. A process for the preparation of an aqueous sol comprising silica-magnesium fluoride hydrate composite colloidal particles which comprises the steps of adding an aqueous fluoride solution to a mixture liquid of a silica sol and an aqueous magnesium salt solution to produce a slurry of an agglomerate comprising silica-magnesium fluoride hydrate composite colloidal particles and removing the salts formed as by-products. A process for the preparation of an organosol further comprising the step of replacing water in the aqueous sol with an organic solvent.

    摘要: An organic-inorganic composite conductive sol, and a process for producing the same are disclosed. The organic-inorganic composite conductive sol comprises colloidal particles having a primary partical size of 5 to 50 nm of conductive oxide such as colloidal particles of conductive zinc antimonate, colloidal particles of conductive indium antimonate or a mixture thereof, and colloidal particles having a primary particle size of 2 to 10 nm of conductive polymer such as polythiophene or polythiophene derivative. The composite conductive sol is suitable for use in various fields such as transparent antistatic materials, transparent ultraviolet absorbing materials, transparent heat absorbing materials, transparent resistant materials, high refractive index hard coat agents and anti-reflecting agents of resins, plastics, glasses, papers, magnetic tapes, and the like.

    摘要: There is provided a conductive tin oxide sol having a high transparency, and a process for producing the sol, a coating composition by use of the sol and a material coated with the coating composition. The conductive tin oxide sol containing phosphorus-doped conductive tin oxide colloidal particles (A), wherein a sol prepared so as to have the colloidal particles (A) in a concentration of 10 mass % in the sol has a transmittance of 30% or more at a wavelength of 600 nm in an optical path length of 10 mm. The particle diameter of the conductive tin oxide sol by observation with transmission electron microscope is 2 to 25 nm. The molar ratio of the doped phosphorus (P) to the tin oxide (SnO2) in the colloidal particles (A) is 0.005 to 0.2. The conductive tin oxide sol is produced by mixing a phosphorus compound in a tin oxide sol, and then subjecting to a hydrothermal treatment. The coating composition contains the conductive tin oxide sol and a binder. The material having a coating film formed from the coating composition is also provided.

    摘要: There is provided a conductive tin oxide sol having a high transparency, and a process for producing the sol, a coating composition by use of the sol and a material coated with the coating composition.     摘要: An antistatic polyester film having the excellent antistatic property and improved appearance of a coating layer, and a process for producing the same are disclosed. The antistatic polyester film comprises a polyester film having formed on at least one surface thereof an antistatic coating layer obtained by coating a coating liquid containing an organic-inorganic composite conductive sol (A) comprising colloidal particles of conductive oxide, having a primary particle size of 5 to 50 nm, and colloidal particles of a conductive polymer. This antistatic polyester film has excellent antistatic property, particularly excellent antistatic property under the low humidity environment, and therefore is useful in magnetic cards, magnetic disks, printing materials, graphic materials, photosensitive materials and the like.
