    摘要: An antenna for receiving electromagnetic waves in a desired frequency band, includes a radiating conductor and a ground conductor, a feeder part, a wavelength-shortening section, and a magnetic field applying section. The radiating conductor and a ground conductor resonate at a resonance point frequency. The feeder part is configured to feed the radiating conductor with electricity. The wavelength-shortening section in which a magnetic body having both a dielectric property and a magnetic property is disposed close to the radiating conductor shifts the resonance point frequency into a band lower than the desired frequency band by a wavelength-shortening effect obtained based on the dielectric property and the magnetic property. The magnetic field applying section is configured to apply a magnetic field to the magnetic body so as to reduce a magnetic loss due to the magnetic body.

    摘要: A thick portion is formed thick at an end of a female belt-like base near a containing space. To the thick portion near the containing space, a cut portion thinner than the female belt-like base is provided. To the cut portion near the containing space, a seal base that is thicker than the female belt-like base and is sealed to an inner surface of a bag body to which a male belt-like base is attached, is provided. Seal strength of the thick portion to the inner surface is lower than that of the seal base. The cut portion is provided to have a lower seal strength than that of the seal base. An area surrounded by the thick portion, the cut portion, the seal base and the inner surface becomes hermetically sealed. Even when external pressure is applied on the bag body, damages to the cut portion can be prevented.

    摘要: A liquid crystal composition is described, which satisfies at least one characteristic among high maximum temperature of a nematic phase, low minimum temperature of a nematic phase, small viscosity, large optical anisotropy, large dielectric anisotropy, large specific resistance, high stability to ultraviolet light, high stability to heat and so on, or is properly balanced regarding at least two of the characteristics. To provide an AM device having short response time, large voltage holding ratio, large contrast ratio, long service life and so forth, the liquid crystal composition has a nematic phase and contains a specific three-ring compound having a large optical anisotropy as a first component, a specific four-ring compound having a large dielectric anisotropy as a second component, and a specific two-ring compound having a particularly small viscosity as a third component. A liquid crystal display device containing the liquid crystal composition is also described.

The deaerating passage is provided by configurating a deaerating passage opening as a non-adhesive part through one side-seal and along the bottom-seal and by configurating an adhesive part near the bottom of the side-seal to near the other side-seal positioned at a predetermined interval from the bottom-seal in parallel to adhere between the top and bottom films. A paint film coated with a sticky substance having the kinematic-viscosity of 4-5,000.times.10.sup.-6 m.sup.2 /s (100.degree. C.) such as polybutene is applied in the deaerating passage.

    摘要: In a method of manufacturing a permeable seat cushion, a permeable fabric material is pressed between a pair of dies while being heated and wetted with steam to render the fabric temporarily unpermeable to provide a seat covering of bag-like structure. A first precut filler pad is bonded to the seat covering, and a second precut filler pad is then bonded to the first filler pad. A frame is mounted together with springs and other necessary elements on the thus obtained assembly, and the seat covering is anchored at its pheripheral edges to the frame to complete the seat cushion.
