摘要： A package is provided which is formed by, with a commodity sandwiched between single-faced corrugated paperboards that are vertically disposed paper members, pressure-bonding together the paper members at the edges of the paper members along the peripheral sides thereof. The edges of the single-faced corrugated paperboards along at least two opposed sides thereof are subjected to waveform bonding by pressure bonding such that a wave shape is formed in the thickness direction of the single-faced corrugated paperboards. The dimensional difference between (i) the length L1 of the portion of each paper member deflected by sandwiching a commodity, and (ii) the flat-bonding length (imaginary linear distance) L2 of a respective one of the edges extending parallel to the direction of the length L1, and each imaginarily bonded flat is absorbed by the waveform bonding, so that, at these edges, the vertical gaps between the single-faced corrugated paperboards are eliminated.

摘要： A transport pouch includes a flap portion and a body portion separated from each other by a folding portion. The transport pouch also includes a front panel and a rear panel, an adhesive closure, at least one removable cover, and a form closure. When the flap portion of the transport pouch is folded onto the body portion of the transport pouch, the flap area of the adhesive closure is adhered to the body area of the adhesive closure, and the form closure is closed, the folding portion of the transport pouch acts as a barrier that prevents billowing of the body portion of the transport pouch, caused by a relative pressure increase in the transport space due to a pressure drop in the surroundings of the transport pouch, from tearing open the form closure and thus from tearing open the adhesive closure.

摘要： A reclosable flexible package is described that includes an inner film layer, an outer film layer laminated to the inner film layer, and reclose region defined in a portion of package film layers. The reclose region includes pressure sensitive adhesive disposed between the inner and outer film layers. A number of cut lines are provided in the outer film layer in the reclose region, such that the user, by manipulating the package film layers at the reclose region, can reveal the underlying layer of pressure sensitive adhesive. Once the pressure sensitive adhesive of the reclose region is exposed, the action of the user can serve to adhere the pressure sensitive adhesive to itself and/or other portions of the film, such that the package is cinched in the area of the reclose region and maintains the remnants of the package contents within the reclosed package for later use.

摘要： In an automated machine that forms a vertically positioned and horizontally traversing web of plastic film into bags and fills the bags with material, the apparatus opens the bags by separating the bag upper longitudinal edge portions. First and second opposing slide gates on opposite sides of the bags normal traversing plane are moveable between closed and open positions. Longitudinal channels on each of the slide gates receive and clampingly grip the bag longitudinal edge portions when the gates are moved away from their closed positions. The bag edge portions are thereby gripped and separated from one another when the gates are opened for thereby opening and filling the bags. While opening the gates, additional longitudinal edge portions are pulled into the apparatus and, while closing the gates, the additional edge portions are pulled out therefrom. The longitudinal edge portions freely traverse through the channels when the gates are closed.

At least one section of the container material may be dispensed from the storage compartment and cut from the roll of container material and sealed on a first free end with the sealing element to form an unsealed container. The unsealed container may then be evacuated by the vacuum motor through a second free end inserted into the vacuum trough and/or sealed on the second free end with the sealing element to form a hermetically sealed container.
