    Abstract: A method is provided that includes scheduling transmission of system information blocks (SIBs) including information elements with assistance information for a first aerospace platform, and a separate at least one information element with assistance information for a second aerospace platform. The first aerospace platform and the second aerospace platform are configured to provide respectively a first non-terrestrial network (NTN) cell and a second NTN cell that are quasi-Earth-fixed cells serving a geographic area for limited periods of time. The method also includes causing a user equipment in the first NTN cell to acquire the separate at least one information element with the assistance information for the second aerospace platform, during a period of time the geographic area is served by the first NTN cell, before the geographic area is served by the second NTN cell.

In the context of a method, the method receives, from a network node, a message indicating a plurality of physical random access channel configurations and at least one relative location threshold.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of signalling enabling Timing Advance (TA) exchange between User Equipment (UE) and Radio Access Network (RAN). The method comprises receiving, at a first device, a TA margin from a second device; transmitting, to the second device, information associated with a reference location of the first device at a first time point; determining a reference TA of the first device at least based on the reference location of the first device; determining an actual TA of the first device at least based on an actual location of the first device at a second time point; and determining, based on a comparison of a TA margin with a difference between the reference TA and the actual TA, whether to transmit an updated reference location of the first device to the second device. In this way, the control for uplink overhead from TA/location updates and probability of impacting downlink scheduling become flexible. Furthermore, the downlink delay can be optimised and meanwhile overhead in case of very few small packets transmitted can be minimized. As a result, the network can optimize its own performance and the battery savings of the users.

    Abstract: An apparatus, method and computer program is described comprising: determining a set of candidate radio resources for transmitting data from a first communication node of a non-terrestrial network to a second communication node of the non-terrestrial network over a direct radio link; identifying one or more of the candidate radio resources as conflicting radio resources that conflict with at least one scheduled radio transmission in the non-terrestrial network based, at least in part, on a propagation delay associated with the at least one scheduled radio transmission and/or a propagation delay associated with the radio transmission by the first communication node; generating a subset of candidate radio resources by excluding the identified one or more conflicting radio resources from the set of candidate radio resources; and selecting a radio resource from the subset of candidate radio resources for transmitting the data over the direct radio link.
