    摘要： A process for the preparation of polyaniline by an oxidation polymerization of aniline with use of an oxidizing agent and a protonic acid, wherein the pKa value of a byproduct produced by the reduction of the oxidizing agent is greater than the pKa value of the protonic acid. The protonic acid is an aromatic sulfonic acid compound having at least a sulfonic-acid group. A process is also provided for the formation of a solid electrolytic capacitor including an electrolyte of the polyaniline. A method is provided of improving the electrical conductivity of the polyaniline prepared by the above process. The polyaniline is subjected to a heat treatment in a vacuum or an inert gas in which a partial pressure of oxygen is 10 mmHg or below.

    摘要： A display drive circuit using a plurality of the segment driver LSIs of the same kind, which substantially inverts the direction of the LSI pin array by switching into any specific mode required. Specifically, the display drive circuit causes the orders of the column addresses of the display memory and the bits to be inverted by applying the mode select signals. The preferred embodiment effectively eliminates the crossed wiring conventionally applied, while achieving the most efficient use of the printed circuit boards and making it possible to install multi-terminal LSIs in the limited space and a multi-dutied LCD unit as well.

    摘要： An electronic cash register includes a melody generation system for generating a melody for as long as the cash box is open. Information corresponding to a plurality of melodies is stored in the melody generation system for changing the melody in accordance with a certain condition. In a preferred form, a first melody is generated when the current time has not yet reached a preselected time, and a second melody is generated when the current time has already reached the preselected time. In another preferred form, the melody is changed when the clerk who handles the electronic cash register changes.
