摘要： A fluid deflecting assembly for deflecting a fluid medium in any desired direction, particularly suited for use in an air conditioner, which has a nozzle for issuing a main stream of fluid as the fluid passes therethrough, a guide wall at a position downstream of the nozzle and having substantially a diverging shape in a direction downstream with respect to the direction of flow of the main stream and opening outwardly in a direction away from the nozzle, and a control device for controlling the mode of flow of the fluid at a position upstream of the nozzle. The nozzle has a relatively small thickness in the direction of flow of the fluid therethrough and is so shaped as to constrict the flow of the fluid as the latter passes therethrough.

摘要： A film end detector for use in automatic film winding camera comprises a rotary disc having a light transmitting area and mounted on the drive shaft of a motor which is used to wind up a film automatically. The rotation of the disc is monitored by a combination of a light source and light receiving, photoelectric transducer element which are disposed to monitor the passage of light through the light transmitting area, thus detecting a film end. Logic circuits examine the output of the photoelectric transducer element at predetermined intervals to ascertain the completion or failure of completion of a normal film-winding operation.

摘要： A process for producing amorphous preparations of steryl glucoside monopalmitates, wherein steryl glucoside monopalmitates are heated at a temperature above 110.degree. C up to about 145.degree. C or the compounds are dissolved in an organic solvent in which they are soluble with a solvent which is then distilled off, and the compounds then pulverized and mixed with physiologically harmless organic or inorganic fine particles in a proportion of 0.5 times (by weight) of the compounds or more, thereby homogeneously dispersing the amorphous compounds in the fine particles or uniformtly adsorbing the compounds on the fine particles, and the resulting preparations which have hemostatic properties and are readily absorbable upon ingestion. The starting steryl glucoside monopalmitates are obtained in crystalline form as from soy beans or other vegetable sources.

摘要： A microfilm inserter having a table for retaining a microfilm jacket in a fixed position is provided with a pair of feed rolls at either end of the table, a detecting means for detecting the trailing end of a microfilm strip to be inserted into said jacket, and a cutter for cutting off the leader of said microfilm strip. A film strip having a leader is fed through the feed rolls at one end and into the insertion slot of the jacket. When the leader exits from the far end of the jacket, it passes between the other pair of rolls and the film strip continues to be transported even after the trailing end thereof has passed through the feed rolls at said one end. When it is detected that the trailing end of the film strip has arrived at a predetermined position, the film strip is stopped and the leader is cut off along the far end of the jacket.

摘要： A powder container is for use with an image forming apparatus, and the image forming apparatus includes a driving protrusion that is rotatable and that protrudes toward an upstream side in an insertion direction in which the powder container is inserted. The powder container includes a container body to store powder, a cap attached to the container body, and a transmitted structure provided on the cap to contact the driving protrusion. The transmitted structure extends outward from an outer circumference of the powder container. The cap is rotatable relative to the container body in a predetermined angular range. The rotation of the cap relative to the container body is restricted so that the container body rotates along with the rotation of the cap when the rotation of the cap exceeds the predetermined angular range.
