    摘要: An apparatus and method for fixing an installation object on a wheel, which are enabled to restrain rotation of a housing caused by a tightening torque of a worm screw, and to thereby prevent breakage of the housing. The apparatus for fixing an installation object on a wheel includes a band which is looped around a rim well portion of the wheel and holds the installation object. While a housing for holding a worm screw is fixed to one end portion of the band, a plurality of slits for engaging with a thread of the worm screw are provided in the other end portion of the band. The apparatus includes a rotation restraining mechanism which projects more outward than the housing in a width direction of the band, and restrains rotation of the housing caused by a tightening torque of the worm screw.

    摘要: A vehicle monitoring system which may easily identify information transmitted from each of detecting devices without registration of identification information of the detecting devices and a transponder thereof are provided. A display 30 is disposed in a distal end of the transponders 20 all connected in series through a cable 40. Each of the detecting devices 10 detects conditions in a predetermined portion of a vehicle and transmits vehicle information including measurement results, its own identification information and the number of transmissions. Each of the transponders 20 determines whether the vehicle information transmitted from the detecting devices 10 is received or not based on the identification information of the detecting devices 10 registered in advance, and transmits the vehicle information to the transponder 20 connected to the transmitting side or the display 30, when it determines that the vehicle information is to be received. Also, the each transponder 20 receives the vehicle information transmitted from the transponder 20 connected to the receiving side, updating the number of transmissions included in the vehicle information and transmits the vehicle information to the transponder 20 connected to the transmitting side or the display 30.

A pneumatic tire is fitted to a wheel rim; and the run-flat support member constituted of a circular shell and elastic rings is inserted into a cavity of the pneumatic tire, in which the circular shell has a support surface thereof extended toward the periphery of the tire and leg portions along each side of the support surface, and the elastic rings support the leg portions of the circular shell on the rim. In the tire/wheel assembly, the leg portion of the circular shell is formed to have a sidewall extending in a shell radial direction and a bottom wall that is substantially parallel to a shell axial direction. The elastic ring is attached to the sidewall of the leg portion while being abutted on the bottom wall of the same without an engagement.

    摘要: To provide a transponder for tire, in which the physical quantity in an atmosphere within a tire air chamber can be accurately detected by a sensor and which can be vulcanized in a state in which it is embedded in the tire, a tire with the transponder, and a manufacturing method of the tire. According to the present invention, a transponder obtained by hermetically sealing, by a housing, a circuit substrate with the sensor and other electronic components packaged is embedded between an inner liner and a carcass ply. A green tire thus embedded is vulcanized, and after the vulcanization, the tip end portion of a protruded portion of the housing is removed together with part of the tire inner wall surface, and an aperture is formed at a tip end of the protruded portion to communicate an interior of the tire air chamber with the sensor within the housing. Since a circuit substrate is hermetically sealed and housed within the housing, there is no possibility that pressure during vulcanization is applied to the sensor. Thereby, the sensor and the electronic components are protected against deterioration and destruction due to the pressure during vulcanization.
