    摘要: Disclosed are an explosion-proof tire hub, including a hub body and an explosion-proof convex retainer. The hub body includes bent portions configured to mount a vacuum tire, the hub body is provided with a central axis, the explosion-proof convex retainer is fixed on the hub body, the distance between an upper end of the explosion-proof convex retainer and the central axis is L1, the distance between an upper end of the bent portion and the central axis is L2, and L1 is greater than L2. In case of burst or instantaneous pressure loss, because the distance L1 between the upper end of the explosion-proof convex retainer and the central axis is greater than the distance L2 between the upper end of the bent portion and the central axis, the explosion-proof convex retainer reduces the distance between the whole hub and the ground during tire burst and improves safety performance.

    摘要: A tire for a vehicle includes a tire body having a circumferentially extending tread portion with an outer surface and an inner surface. First and second sidewalls are joined to the tread portion, and the first and second sidewalls terminate in first and second edges, respectively, and are configured to be secured within a flange of a rim of a wheel. In addition, the tire includes a tire insert comprising a circumferential hoop of resilient material and positioned adjacent to the inner surface of the tread portion. The tire insert may have an arcuate cross section and a width that extends across from the first sidewall to the second sidewall. The resilient material of the tire insert may comprise spring steel of a steel alloy and be in a state of compression.

    摘要: Tire blocks are described. The techniques described herein may enable multiple blocks of foam to substantially fill an inside of a tire. Each of the blocks used to fill a tire may have a wedge shape and a rigidity that is sufficient to operate the tire without air pressure. The wedge shape of each of the tire blocks has sides that may be positioned at least partially against sidewalls of the tire and sides that may be positioned against other blocks of foam. The tire can then be inflated to the desired air pressure for operation. Because of the density of the foam and the wedge shape design, a failed tire can still be used for normal operation.
