Provided is a display device that allows a distance from a display medium to an object ahead to be easily ascertained. The display device includes a display unit that projects a light beam onto a windshield so as to be reflected from the windshield such that a virtual image is displayed in a space further than the windshield in the depth direction, and a controller that controls the display unit so that a reference pattern to be superimposed on a pedestrian present in the space is displayed so as to correspond to the position of the pedestrian.

The projection optical system has a lens group including at least one lens element and projects onto a reflecting member an image displayed on the display device. The lens group includes a drive lens that shifts along an optical path to change its distance from the display device.

A display device includes a video element and a parallax optical element. The video element projects, onto a windshield, a stereoscopic vision image in which a plurality of rectangular left-eye images and a plurality of rectangular right-eye images are alternately arrayed in a first array pattern. The parallax optical element is provided between the video element and the windshield and includes a plurality of separation parts arrayed in a lattice-like fashion and in a second array pattern; the separation parts separating the stereoscopic vision image into the left-eye images and the right-eye images. At least one of the first array pattern and the second array pattern is a nonuniform array pattern that conforms to a curved surface of the windshield.

An information communication terminal includes the followings. An input receiving unit receives an input from a user. A communication unit obtains presentation information corresponding to an input by the user from a server according to a dialog scenario, every time the input is received. A dialog processing unit presents the user with the presentation information obtained by the communication unit. A communication state determination unit determines a communication state between the communication unit and the server. When the communication state determination unit makes a first determination that the communication is deteriorated during a dialog, the dialog processing unit causes the communication unit to obtain, as candidate presentation information, at least one presentation information with a possibility of being presented to the user after the first determination according to the dialog scenario.
