Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a transmission power for a synchronization signal block (SSB) transmission by a base station, the indicated transmission power different than a default transmission power for SSB transmissions by the base station. The UE may determine a received power with which the SSB transmission is received at the UE. The UE may receive one or more downlink transmissions from the base station based at least in part on the received power for the SSB transmission and a difference between the default transmission power and the indicated transmission power for the SSB transmission.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station in a full duplex mode, a first downlink transmission associated with a spatial filter. The UE may decode the first downlink transmission according to a default transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state that indicates the spatial filter. The default TCI state may be based at least in part on a first active TCI state for the full duplex mode. Numerous other aspects are provided.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may interleave a signal, that is to be transmitted using discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spread orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (DFT-s-OFDM), and a negative of the signal to obtain an interleaved signal prior to performing a DFT on the interleaved signal. The UE may transmit a DFT-s-OFDM signal that is based at least in part on the interleaved signal. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A method of wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) is described that may include receiving a data packet transmission over a wireless channel from a base station. The method may further include determining a set of intrinsic log likelihood ratios (LLRs) based at least in part on the data packet transmission and determining an accumulated capacity for the wireless channel based at least in part on the set of intrinsic LLRs. The method may also include determining a channel quality indicator index or a transmission rank for the wireless channel based at least in part on the accumulated capacity and transmitting a feedback message that indicates the channel quality indicator index or the transmission rank for the wireless channel to the base station.

A communication device, such as a user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a set of configurations including a set of random access channel (RACH) configurations or a set of scheduling request (SR) configurations. At least one RACH configuration of the set of RACH configurations includes a UE-group common RACH configuration or at least one SR configuration of the set of SR configurations includes a UE-group common SR configuration. The UE may select one or more configurations of the set of RACH configurations or the set of SR configurations based on receiving the control signaling and may perform the wireless communications.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support reduced bandwidth devices and particularly, allocation of control resource sets for reduced bandwidths. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, from a base station at a user equipment (UE) having a first type, a master information block (MIB) within a physical broadcast channel (PBCH). The MIB includes CORESET size information and search space information for devices having a second type. The method also includes selecting a CORESET size from a plurality of preconfigured CORESET sizes based on a subcarrier spacing used to communicate with the base station. The method further includes monitoring a set of time and frequency resources to receive a message from the base station. The set of time and frequency resources has the selected CORESET size. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

For instance, a UE or base station may identify a first portion of a payload associated with a first priority and a second portion of the payload associated with a second priority less than the first priority. The UE or base station may select a first matrix associated with a first domain for the first portion of the payload and a second matrix associated with a second domain for the second portion of the payload based on a first maximum index interval for the first matrix being larger than a second maximum index interval for the second matrix. The UE may transmit or the base station may receive the first portion of the payload using one or more sequences associated with the first matrix and the second portion of the payload using one or more sequences associated with the second matrix.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first downlink control information (DCI) message from a base station on a first downlink control channel. The first DCI message may indicate a first set of transmission parameters. The UE may transmit a first uplink control information (UCI) message to the base station on an uplink control channel based on the first DCI message. The first UCI message may include feedback and a channel state information (CSI) report. The UE may receive a second DCI message from the base station on a second downlink channel based on the first UCI message. The second DCI message may indicate a second set of transmission parameters that are different than the first set of transmission parameters. The UE may communicate with the base station using the second set of transmission parameters indicated by the second DCI message.
