    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a timing controller, a data driver, a gate driver and a backlight unit. The gate driver sequentially outputs gate signals to gate lines. The backlight unit performs an on-operation during a high section of a backlight control signal and an off-operation during a low section of the backlight control signal. The gate signals includes first gate signals that are output during the high section of the backlight control signal and have a first pulse width and second gate signals that are output during the low section of the backlight control signal and have a second pulse width greater than the first pulse width.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel, a timing controller, a data driver, a gate driver and a backlight unit. The gate driver sequentially outputs gate signals to gate lines.     Abstract: Disclosed is a display device which includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a voltage generator providing a driving voltage to the plurality of pixels, and a driving controller. The driving controller includes an overcurrent protecting circuit. The overcurrent protecting circuit includes a first logic circuit comparing a limit current with a sensing current to generate a first comparison result, a second logic circuit comparing a load with a limit load to generate a second comparison result and comparing the driving voltage with a limit voltage to generate a third comparison result. When the first comparison result indicates the sensing current is greater than or equal to the limit current, the second comparison result indicates the load is greater than the limit load and the third comparison result indicates the driving voltage is greater than the limit voltage, a driving voltage controller maintains the driving voltage.

    Abstract: A display device includes a first gain provider which controls a first gain value during a first display period in which a still image is displayed, a second gain provider which controls a second gain value during a second display period in which a moving image including a still area is displayed, and a grayscale converter which applies the first gain value or the second gain value to an input image and generates an output image. The first gain provider linearly or exponentially increases the first gain value to a maximum gain value based on a load of the still image from a first time point when the second display period changes to the first display period to a second time point at which the first gain value starts to decrease from the maximum gain value.

    Abstract: A display device is disclosed that includes a display panel, a first source circuit board, a second source circuit board, and a control circuit board. The first source circuit board is configured to output a first feedback voltage corresponding to a first driving voltage. The second source circuit board is configured to output a second feedback voltage corresponding to the second driving voltage. The control circuit board is configured to supply the first and second driving voltages to the first and second source circuit boards, respectively, and receive the first and second feedback voltages from the first and second source circuit boards, respectively.
