    Abstract: A communication terminal which modulates and demodulates a packet for transmission and reception based on a communication parameter for modulation and demodulation determined according to a communication-medium characteristic. The communication terminal includes: an extracting unit which extracts, during every occurrence of a predetermined cycle, information indicative of either one of transmission efficiency and reception quality of the packet as an information element; a calculating unit which calculates a difference between a first information element extracted by the extracting unit and a second information element previously extracted by the extracting unit; and detecting-scheme performance determining unit which determines, based on the difference between the first information element and the second information element whether a scheme of detecting the communication-medium characteristic is to be performed.

    Abstract: Even when a remaining amount of an image memory built in a digital camera is decreased, the photographing can be further continued while reserving a photographed image. An image which is obtained from an image input unit including image pickup means is accumulated into an image memory. When a remaining amount calculating unit detects that the remaining amount of the image memory is small, an image record discriminating unit compares it with an image size in a photograph mode at that time which is obtained from an image size table, thereby discriminating whether the continuation of the photographing can be performed or not. When the photographing is impossible, an image selecting unit selects an old image, an image in which the number of colors is small, or the like on the basis of management data regarding the photographed images in a memory managing table. The selected image is transmitted by a PHS communication by a data transmitting apparatus. After it was transmitted, the image is erased from the image memory.

After the tower is built, a plurality of nacelle sections are collected around the tower and are connected with each other while the nacelle is penetrated by the tower. Then, the nacelle is lifted up along the tower in that state and fixed to the top end of the tower.
