摘要: A mobile device and a displayed information protection method suitable for use with the mobile device are disclosed. In response to a trigger signal, a control unit determines if information presented on a display contains confidential information. If confidential information is displayed, the confidential information is concealed or removed from the display. The trigger signal may comprise, for example, an event such as an incoming telephone call, reception of electronic mail, and fingerprint authentication.

摘要: A receiver for the CDMA system, in order to reduce a power consumption during a suspension period of intermittent receiving operation, monitors a suspension period t1 by means of a low-power timer 51 so that a VC-TCXO 1, a reference signal group generation unit 2 and a receiving unit 3 are turned off and a modem unit 4 is set to a sleep state. Upon resumption of receiving operation, a high-accuracy timer 44 is supplied with a start (d) to require counting of time t3 and a part of a received signal is stored. A PN code phase of stored data is calculated in a PN code phase calculator 46 during a period t3 to obtain an indication value i for a phase deviation. State vectors for short code and long code and further a reception time t4 are calculated on the basis of the indication value i to be set. When the high-accuracy timer 44 counts t3 and produces 0V(d), demodulation operation by a rake demodulation unit 40, a demultiplexing unit 41 and a descrambler unit 42 is started in accordance with the setting and is continued during the reception time t4.

摘要: A CDMA mobile telephone allowing the drive mode to be automatically set and canceled without increasing the amount of hardware is disclosed. A frequency offset for each of N fingers is detected from despread data which are obtained by despreading received spectrum-spread data of M branches. Based on the detected N frequency offsets, it is determined whether the mobile telephone is moving at speeds higher than a predetermined speed. An operation mode of the mobile telephone switches between a drive mode and a normal mode depending on whether the mobile telephone is moving at speeds higher than the predetermined speed.

摘要: The present invention aims to cool high tension electrical equipment efficiently with a small, lightweight device. The high tension electrical equipment cooling structure is provided for cooling batteries which supply electricity to the operating motor via an inverter, and the inverter using cooling air, and comprises an equipment box for guiding cooling air introduced from a cooling air inlet port into a cooling air outlet port, and a fan for introducing cooling air from the cooling air inlet port. A shutter that consists of an elastic material is disposed inside the intake duct. The shutter closes off the cooling air flow path, and when negative pressure is generated downstream of the shutter due to the operation of the fan, the shutter undergoes elastic deformation, and as a result, the cooling air flow path is opened.
